- When watching 'Carol & The End of the World', the existentialist themes of the series stuck with me for longer than I was prepared for. Join me as I talk about the thoughts that Carol made me think.
Maybe if I was better at computer games, I wouldn't need to have all these stupid thoughts.

It's one of the best and most poignant mature animations I've seen. I wish there was more like Carol. Not exactly like it, but something just as poignant, mundane and comforting.
It's funny because I also watched Bee and Puppycat, and Hilda, and I guess something happened to my psyche after watching 3 animated series that depicted mundane life.
And I guess this value on the mundane makes us think of our existence.
I found it quite weirdly comforting especially when it comes down to a doomer subject such as the absurdity of the world and loneliness.
