Hi Miranda. Two weeks ago I’ve got my New Entrant SA letter 1 and half month after obtaining MC. It is not difficult at least in Tennessee. Just gathered documents and uploaded. Done. Basically it based on 3 pillars: Authority compliance, Driver compliance, Equipment compliance.
How do you upload it?
Also I live in Knoxville Tennessee. I drive a sprinter van. Where do I go to get my vehicle inspected?

Just had mine and passed with no problems. Only advice I could give is to keep your paperwork in order!

Hey Miranda love your content! So we need proof of logs being real how does that work? Could I send something like pick up and delivery paperwork or maybe fuel receipts or something like that?
Yes absolutely- fuel receipts, tolls, BOLs, maintenance- something that shows your location with a time stamp that the officer can compare the logs to. Scale receipts also work.

I wanted to ask, What if the driver is the owner of the company and he's the Only driver in the company so far. How would the pre-employment medical examination work? But, has the medical card up to date? Thank you
Even if you are the only driver in your own company, you still have to do a driver application, pre employment test, medical exam to get your med certificate, and enroll yourself in random testing!

If I have been using a driver while his truck has been down, can I still use him on my DOT NEW ENTRANT AUDIT? He has been driving for me for about 30 days. He technically is under contract with another carrier because he is leased on to them. I need to have him complete a pre employment drug screen for our company though. He states the other company scans his license periodically to see if he has worked for anyone else. If we have him complete a drug screen for us, will that show up for the other company to see?

Thank you for the video. I just sent my documents a couple of weeks ago for new entry audit. I’m waiting for the result nervously. I didn’t send the supporting document along with the 30 days of RODs. Do you think that gonna be a problem?
You can still upload it using that webiste- use BOLs, fuel receipts, tolls, maintenance, whatever you have :)

Question as a independent dispatcher who does not drive have to truck would I be able to get a dot number to join some of the load boards that require an authority to join so I don’t have to create a login for each client. Or is there a way to get it done that I’m not able to think
Great question- on DAT, there is a way to get the load board as a dispatcher only without having to create a login for each client.

Since i have older truck, i use paper logs...how do i upload paper logs? do i simply take pictures (log and supporting documents) convert 'em to pdf and upload 'em...OR there is better method. Also what format (PDF OR SOME OTHER FORMAT) ALL OF THESE DOCUMENTS NEED TO BE IN. Please reply....Your response will be greatly appreciated... Thank you for sharing this valuable info with us...

@@MeNMySavior I spoke with my auditor and he told me to take pictures of each paper log, receipt and bol and convert 'em to pdf and upload which i did. Just make sure your total file size doesn't exceed 10mb.

How would I go about making a driver and vehicle list for just me and 1 truck. Do I just write down my name and truck info on a notepad or something? Everything else I have in order.

Does it need to be the most recent 30 days of logs? Or does that not matter? Going through my new entry audit now. That's the only thing I'm not certain about.

How do you get your DOT pin through email?
I'm a single car hauler using a 05 RAM 1500 and a 18ft car trailer. Do I have to go through all of this also? Thanks in advance.

@@392nightrunnerthey take more than half. I was told someone got a broker a $28,000 load and they place it on the load board for a fraction of that direct rate. California. Brokers are not honest at all. Not all.
