これに対する担任の森先生の結論は、

In the reflection in the window behind her you can clearly see how her mentors are giving her visual signs when to make certain gestures to help her respond appropriately to the host (also revealed by how the girl's viewing direction changes for a blink of an eye), thus to maximize the effect on the audience, for example the moment
0:21 when she bows to the audience (sign by a man in plaid shirt in the reflection behind her head),
2:25 when to fold/clap her hands (sign by the same man),
4:43 when to perform the "hai" gesture (sign by man in white shirt in the reflection on the right).
BABYMETAL is very talented in following choreographic instructions on stage (explaining partly its success), but I didn't think the crew would go so far as to optimize and perfect her appearance on a radio show.

***** I found this observation interesting, as I find it generally interesting if and how the producers and managers are trying to maximize the profile of a music group. And I know Japanese culture and habits a bit due to my Japanese wife. What I think is truly "fucked up" is you insulting me (using punctuation and capitalization incorrectly) and not appreciating the many interesting details around the main event. How shallow, how poor, how embarrassing is that?
NeedsEvidence do you even know the context when she did the "gestures"? and why she did it?
***** Those are common Japanese gestures that I've seen a lot in Japan and in Japanese TV. So I was surprised that her mentors *seem* to coordinate these from time to time. But perhaps my interpretation is wrong.
NeedsEvidence OK first of all, he's not a mentor, a timekeeper guy from the radio station. And second of all, if you have no idea of what those gestures or conversations were about, don't make any interpretation in the first place; it's offending, both to the people and the culture. (On a side note, just because you have a wife doesn't mean you have knowledge of her culture, FYI)
