The way Queen Neferess scowled when she called Xal'atath "The Harbinger". Its almost like she'd met her back when the Black Empire was still around. Or at least knew of The Harbinger.

@@RavenWalker72 what does that have to do with "us"? the fact that they talk about a LAST STAND very much implies bfa over original black empire, also we see queen ansurek as a child when neferess rejects the oldgods, and the nerubian lifespan (while we dont have a maximum age) shows that they are close ish to humans, being considered adults at age 15 and an age of 53 is considered "old age" meaning most likely they are not immortal and their maximum lifespan is between 100-120 so it COULDNT have been the original black empire they talked about, and even if it could that would mean ansurek is more than 100.000 years old which is roughly when the titans came to azeroth given what little weve seen from queen neferess i'd say its safe to say that she wouldve given over the leadership to her daughter if those are the ages involved ansurek based on appearance seems to have been about 8-10 when the old gods called for the last stand at nyalotha, so if that is bfa then that means 5-7 years have passed since then putting her at age 15-17 when she kills her mother, which also lines up with her behavior, she is eager to lead, she considers herself as an adult and wants to take over but her mother still see's her as a child who has much to learn (which wouldnt be the case if she was over 100.000 years old) so its DEFINITLY ABSOLUTELY talking about bfa not the original black empire

I totally had that Azshara Warbringer vibe with this and with the killing of her mom, I had flashbacks of Arthas...I know not quite the same but both of them were driven to kill their parent to be something bigger/more powerful. Ooooh, I am so stoked for this expansion! Also, I hate spiders too. I make my husband get rid of them when they get in the house. They just give me the willies!

Honestly this happened during that time skip period between shadowlands and dragon flight I would think. - 5 years would be enough time to do convince the queen (or her daughter) to join xal'ath and to start a army. - Then all the stuff with the earth primal with dawn of the infinite . - Dark heart questline That is just what I think the timeline works like with the new information we got.

oh yea!! you're totally right, i actually completely forgot about the shadowlands ones for some reason, and i didnt pay attention as much during dragonflight so wasn't thinking of those. my brain was totally just was stuck on those OG warbringers cinematics and just searched "warbringers" on youtube to check and was only seeing the ones from 5, 6, 8 years ago

People who have followed the lore, and actually taken time to learn it, and see this is still Warcraft, just more fleshed out, and characters becoming more "human" with their emotions, and character as a whole. But those that don't, dislike this, thinking this is not Warcraft, when it always has been, especially Warcraft 3, because starting World of Warcraft barely had any story, so they seem to forget Warcraft had massive storyelling and showing "emotions" from a character, not just a cold rock with basically no emotions. I find this trailer quite nice, because it put more "life" into the Nerubians, their story really fell to the wayside after Wotlk, where it was just lightly mentioned and shown. Sadly not returning to WoW, but I like seeing what is happening with the lore, Warcraft has always interested me, and I've enjoyed majority of the story
I’ve seen people complaining about this short saying Blizzard has ruined the Nerubians because they aren’t vicious spider creatures but instead creatures with emotions, yet they ignore that Nerubians have built entire kingdoms and are sentient. Sure Nerubians didn’t show this much in Wrath but that was because Arthas had killed the majority of them and raised them into undeath. The few surviving Nerubians we see there actually show gratitude to the player if you help them. And don’t get me started on their complaints about Xal’atath.

And it isn't the violence that allows you to just switch off your brain the longest, it's a story with depth that catches your interest, that truly grabs you. That makes you want to explore everything. But people forget that, and just want simple things, when that isn't what caught their interest with Warcraft ip. It was the captivating story of Arthas, Illidam, Uther, Jaina, Thrall and many more. If that hadn't happened, they'd never care about WoW, nor would've it been such a success
I would love to see Sylvanas and Xal'atath together at some point like I wonder if they'll ever have any interaction in like Midnight or something, maybe in a cinematic. but Sylvanas seems like shes kind of more "good" now. no longer the banshee queen. but man it would have been so cool to see them working together doing evil stuff haha idk im just day dreaming i guess XD i need someone to make a fanart or something!! lol

And Ansurek might be the one female character thats this thicc. And i like the Nerubian's a lot now, there story, there society. Just to bad that Ansurek is so young, impatient and naive. I looked up the model of Ansurek on wowhead and dear god she looks good. The animations there are amazing and i dont care if they are legit or just something they slaped on. And now we have Azshara and a new wifu Ansurek, idk if Sylvana's counts as a wifu?

Compare this to any of the cinematics for BFA, or heck, even Shadowlands, and it looks crappy and boring.Those xpacs had their issues, but their cinematic team made up for alot of it. This was low quality and boring. But hey, if seeing your anime wifu is enough for you, then you're easy to please.
