It turned out great. But I’m just wondering as to why you chose to use the sleeves and the cuffs as the finished brim of your beanie? Why not use the body of the sweater and have the bottom of the sweater as your brim? You would of only had one seam at the back of the hat where the edges meet instead of 2, one on either side of your head? It seems to me that would also probably been less work as well.

Instead of glue, just tap them repeatedly with a felt needle. This way their wool fibers can be staggered and bonded to each other. The longer they repeat, the better their adhesion .

I did not use any glue. Because the small hooks on the felt needles shuttle up and down, the down fibers of the two pieces of woolen yarn are bonded together, They are combined into one. Friend I wish you happy and healthy every day in 2021 !
