@uneedtherapy42. It is important to remember that as funny as Carson's sketches on "The Tonight Show" were, he ripped off a lot of his regular sketches from others. For example, "Carnac The Magnificent" was a ripoff of Steve Allen's "Answer Man" sketch on Allen's earlier version of "The Tonight Show". And Carson blatantly ripped off the "Aunt Blabby" character from Jonathan Winter's "Maude Frickert" character. When Winters was asked why he never sued Carson, Winters stated that he didn't want to create any bad feelings between them.

@@omi_god So, you cannot see that problem with some of our politicians. There are more than a few owe allegiance to the parry before their people back home. And will not look at answers to a problem beyond the party line. And that exists with both parties. Just remember what wise men and also the Bible warns us of what corrupts people. People do not become millionaires on government pay. Nor do they seclude themselves from the common man unless they have determined that they are an elite. Plus I must admit the society itself has also changed. We have invited the government to become our personal Daddy Warbucks. We think this will give all of us the life of luxury we desire. Unfortunately, sooner or later the piper must be paid. I do not think payday is going to be any fun.
