Delicate Flower Delivery Quest (Deepnest and Detours)

- A challenge suggested by Angelos D. to complete the delicate flower quest by taking it through Deepnest. Going down through the City of Tears and to Deepnest via the tram and then up to Queen's Gardens isn't actually that bad so I may have added a detour to make it slightly more challenging.
For some reason my recording settings changed and had the record button show up, so apologies for that.

The entirety of hollow knight just feels like me when I walk in the kitchen.

The funniest thing is, he does the Path of Pain (and almost everything else) totally casually and then becomes visibly nervous and cautious towards the end of Deepnest and throughout Queen's Gardens.
I think it might be because creatures move and you cant memorize their precise locations, only a general area. You can see he gets cautious where he knows there are creatures ahead. You can see that in the beginning in the City of Tears too.
It’s because if he failed he would have to redo the path

Deepnest is a bitch with the sudden spider appearances
Imagine if he accidentically dashed too soon or too late, and got hit by the thorns in the room just before the grave, after the little casual stroll he did.

What is best in life: to walk away from a mask fragment, having proven that you no longer need it.
More like crazy customer tries to pay me with a broken mask she likely found in the garbage when I'm already wearing five non-broken masks. I don't need more. Then she runs off to the afterlife before I can demand payment in cold hard geo.

@@shizi9686 yeah. It took me 3 tries as well. first one I failed, because of that damn thorn in the end. The second one I failed just after leaving grey mourner. The best strategy is to sit on a bench under the grave, kill everything on your way to grey mourney and don't sit on any benches. The enemies don't respawn. Sone do, but they are easy af. I recommend Quenn's Garden -> Fog Canyon -> Quenn's Station(don't sit on the bench.) -> Fungal Wastes -> Forgotten Crossroads -> Resting Grounds(Tram) -> Grey Mourner. Then you take the flower and go back without resting. Watch out for aspids in FC, these small baloons in FW and everything in fog canyon, 'cause they respawn. Dunno why I wrote it all.

I was fortunate to not break the flower after completing Path of Pain but before working on PoP I did practice the Deepnest route (including a few times after getting hit in PoP) and I remember getting hit a few times figuring it out. I was super cautious throughout the Deepnest portion as I was super worried about having to do PoP hitless again.

My favorite part about this is that while going through deepnest is just one of the paths that can be taken to the lover’s grave (albeit, a very dangerous and irritating path, but one of the paths nonetheless), there was *literally no point in doing the path of pain.* Just did it for kicks and giggles, no biggie. What a legend.

I didn't realize you couldn't use sharp shadow for PoP until I tried it equipped and had no clue why I couldn't get threw one section without dying. Then I remembered sharp shadow extends your dash...

everytime i try this quest, i take damage from those jellyfishes. but now i know the safest way to deliver the flowers, definitely the best tutorial on this quest.

Well, there is the super secret ending for bringing a delicate flower to Absolute Radiance but that ending will never be discovered.
But more seriously I think other than the NPC additions in Godmaster and Elderbug no one else responds to the flower.
