The limbo ring is so they look more natural. Like real eyes that are lighter in color you can see a limbo ring. The thicker the limbo ring usually the younger you are. The thinner and more diminished the limbo ring the older you are. So getting lenses with a limbo ring is recommended if you are going for a more natural look. Without it you end up looking almost vampirish.

Just a tip for begginers in Solotica lenses, the hidrocor lenses are not for you if your iris is small, if this is your case the natural colors its gonna suit so much better on your eyes, even hidrocharme

the quartzo look good in pictures, like extremely cool and beautiful , BUT in person are not my cup of tea, probably they would look way better on a white person or someone with cool undertone, but overall, the NC ocre are just imo the best, the color is very realistic love them

yeah, hidrocor are awesome for night events, for a daily use I would say, you can try the new NC amber, I haven't try them but I know they are a mix between the ocre and the mel, meaning an brownish green.. I feel the mel have a forest green that doesn't look that real, but the ocre have an amazing color, real and discreet. but like I said, if you want to get a mix between green and brown, go for the amber.
I had owned a pair of solotica nc mel and it wouldnt always stay in the center of my pupil, so the "ring" looked off Center, making the naturalness dissipate, and I kind of notice that with yours. You would look great with mel hidrocor. I stand by the color completely because my hidrocor JUST came in from parana lentés aaaand they're AMAZING. The best pair on you in my opinion was the quartzo. They looked really nice!:)
that also happens because we all don't have the same base curve in the eyes, yes they were a bit wabbly BUT that's because I recorded as soon as I put them, because normally after a few minutes they don't move almost never

yes, I have both of them, in the video the ones I'm wearing at the beginning and at the end of the video are the hidrocor ocre, ( I also have on video review of those) I have to say they look AMAZING in pictures,videos and nightime, BUT the downfall is that you will look like a vampire during the day.. the natural colors ocre are just super real !! they are more toned down and more yellow/brown instead of yellow/gray and they have the limbal ring... I wear those EVERYDAY, and if you want to have some contact that look real and discreet I would go with the NC ocre
hy josh you can use paper gift for your background they are cheap and you can just throw them and change with new design... on camera hidrocor looks more natural but in real person they give zombie look and i have hidrocor quartzo

great video, i'm from brazil, i used to wear the magic top ones (they seem like the waicon trikolor ones), but the new opacity of solotica looks so more natural than the other ones, i just bought the avelã color and it looks amazing, i bought the hidrocor one 'cause i'm afraid of buying the natural colors because of the deep black limbal ring, in my opinion it could be a little thinner, and the pupil looks a little larger than hidrocor... so i chose hidrocor but the natural colors ones looked more natural in you as you said... oh, and they are very very very comfortable on my eyes, i loved them so much... so, great video, great contacts....

@2:26 look the best on you, which I think are the Ocre Natural Colors. I don't like the Hidrocor Ocre. The limbal ring makes them pop more, but they still look natural. And besides, if you notice natural light eyes, they have a limbal ring.
I agree with you Josh, the ocres look the best. Just curious what is your iris size, they almost look like my Hydrocharme ocres. Do you see a difference in regards to the color between Hidrocore ocre and the NC ocre? I would really like to know I'm thinking about getting the Hidrocore.

I've been wearing solotica for about a year now. I have been all about the natural colors line.. I have cristal,Mel, ocre, and quartzo. Recently out of curiosity I bought hidrochor quartzo to see what all the hype was about and omg! They are amazing! Brighter and a bit more natural than natural colors quartzo! So I think the natural factor just depends on the color.... Some colors are better in the natural color line and others in hidrochor. I just bought the natural colors in Esmeralda. I agree the ocre looks best on you. Very handsome! 😊
i think without the limbal rings looks more fitting... cos u hv tanned skin so bright contacts is more fitting rather than bright skin tone which makes thm look like zombies in a way
in hidrocor or natural colors? I would say it depends on your complexion? do you have a cool or warm undertone? as far as I know the quartzo is more turquoise while the crystal more like a light minty green
In the natural colors, and I would say I'm close to your skin color. Maybe a shade lighter, I just don't want to but anything that looks crazy on me lol.
I just read from another video that if they slide, they might be inside out. Not sure if that was the case with you, but both ocre lenses look really good on you. The mels give you a pop of color while still managing to pass as genetically possible. I think these are good for when you're feeling adventurous. In my opinion, I thought the hidrocors, on us tan people, look more natural unless it's the quartzo, cristal, and ice. Those do look vampiric on us and would be better in Natural series.
Hey Josh, For the Hidrocor Mel lenses, they last a year, correct? Also, do you have to buy separate solution to put them in or can you put them back inside the small tubs you're given? Thanks man! They just arrived but I'm unsure on how to use them.

A few days ago I buy Avela and ocre , I never before had contact lenses, and I took time to wear them, I could do it, but I feel I have something in my eyes, I feel I can see a little bit of the lens color, but don't hurt me I do not know what to do , if I'm not used or what ! I need help! 😫

+bullmastiffmommy2be thank you, I totally forgot I have that video there lol... well you would need a cleaning lense solution, I would recommend "bausch and lomb" you can get it on any walmart, target, etc, they keep the lenses clean, make sure to change the solution everyday and get some moisturizing drops, so you can use them in case you are wearing the lenses for longer periods, I would recommend the same brand. btw I have no idea how to enable the private message on my channel, I will look it up for sure
4 days the first time I ordered and then the second time it took literally 1 day and a half !!! I was soo in shock ! probably because I order midnight miami time, and there in dubai was the next day afternoon and they shipped it like right away, so I recommend everybody to order around 11pm -1 am

the quartzo natural colors in real life I don't get too convinced in how natural they look, at least on my skin, but in pics and vids they look amazing !, the ocre NC look more yellowish brown but extremely natural, and in pics depending on the lighting they could look greyish brown, NOW, the hidrocor ocre they look more grey than brown BUT a bit vampirish

I had no idea Solotica exported lenses. I'm brazilian and I wanted to buy the Cristal color, but I'm afraid it'll happen what someone commented before: I've tried other lenses and they keep "swimming" in my eyes, they're never where they should be, so instead of looking incredible, I feel like I'm a snake. It looks creepy. I haven't bought them yet because of that. Guess my eyes are too curvy :(

100% agreed... that limbo ring looks fake... makes it look that the contact doesn't fit ur eye and is showing part of your eye which in reality is that ugly ring...
Sorry, No offense to you at all, but that limbo ring it does give the impression as fake one's, however you are very wise in colors because all the colors you have chosen look great on you except the ring around the eyes go with Hidrocor much better. I was thinking that the ones with the ring would be okay to go party at night only but nor for the day my opinion only therefore you did not waste your money at all because you can use it at night time. 12-31-16

Very well done review! Excellent lighting. So glad you didn't wash out your face with incorrect lighting which seems to be rampant on TH-cam. Anyway, since you asked for feedback...and don't mind me throwing my two cents in........The Mel are very nice and perhaps just a tad more "realistic" or "believable" in the fact that they would be the ones most likely NOT to illicit a comment from someone because that color is so commonly seen with olive skin. I feel any comment from an observer would be more along the line of "oh, you have beautiful eyes" vs that stupid comment us contact wearers get "Oh, are those your eyes" "Is that your natural eye color?". Both questions by the way translate to "I can tell those aren't real, or they don't look real, etc. I think the Quartzo are the most striking on you. Truly stunning actually. I believe the believe-ability factor is there but perhaps slightly less than the Mel but only in the sense that light blue-ish green-ish eyes are much more rare with olive skin. Your last pair, the Ocre. well I hate to say it but I'm not a big fan of that color. Not just on you but on anyone although I have seen some with Black eyes it looks good on. My problem with that color is I feel its too close to your overall skin tone which makes your eyes sort of gets lost in your face. I don't mean to be critical or to sound rude. actually they did but because I was changing them very quick and recording right away, after a couple of mins you put them they set well and don't move
sorry don't mean to rude or anything but other than the hidrocor all of them look fake... the limbo ring I think is what everyone is calling it give it a cheap synthetic look not natural like it should be... I feel the 1st is color popping but I think for your skin tone a honey color would look better or softer gray

Natural Colors look better on you and on men in general. Women can get away with Hidrocor because they use eyeliner. I tried Hidrocor (i'm a guy) and it made me look like a zombie.

I've been wearing solotica for about a year now. I have been all about the natural colors line.. I have cristal,Mel, ocre, and quartzo. Recently out of curiosity I bought hidrochor quartzo to see what all the hype was about and omg! They are amazing! Brighter and a bit more natural than natural colors quartzo! So I think the natural factor just depends on the color.... Some colors are better in the natural color line and others in hidrochor. I just bought the natural colors in Esmeralda. I agree the ocre looks best on you. Very handsome! 😊

I just read from another video that if they slide, they might be inside out. Not sure if that was the case with you, but both ocre lenses look really good on you. The mels give you a pop of color while still managing to pass as genetically possible. I think these are good for when you're feeling adventurous. In my opinion, I thought the hidrocors, on us tan people, look more natural unless it's the quartzo, cristal, and ice. Those do look vampiric on us and would be better in Natural series.

Thank you for your video, it was very helpful! I feel like hidrocor lenses look more natural on people and I'm about to order hidrocor quartzo probably. I don't know why people would say "oh they look fake on you" like of course, they are fake. We're just trying to make a difference and have the actual courage to go out with them and rock them! Talk is cheap, don't ever mind them. Why don't they make a better video instead of hiding behind their phones or whatever. Anyways, love them all on you but my favorite was nc quartzo!

A few days ago I buy Avela and ocre , I never before had contact lenses, and I took time to wear them, I could do it, but I feel I have something in my eyes, I feel I can see a little bit of the lens color, but don't hurt me I do not know what to do , if I'm not used or what ! I need help! 😫

+bullmastiffmommy2be thank you, I totally forgot I have that video there lol... well you would need a cleaning lense solution, I would recommend "bausch and lomb" you can get it on any walmart, target, etc, they keep the lenses clean, make sure to change the solution everyday and get some moisturizing drops, so you can use them in case you are wearing the lenses for longer periods, I would recommend the same brand.

4 days the first time I ordered and then the second time it took literally 1 day and a half !!! I was soo in shock ! probably because I order midnight miami time, and there in dubai was the next day afternoon and they shipped it like right away, so I recommend everybody to order around 11pm -1 am

hi josh. im light skin with cool undertones. i got the nc crystal but they look really vempirish on me. i got the hidrocor grafit and the look good but not as noticable as i would like. i wanted to know if the quartzo nc looks realistic in real life. and if the ocre looks like ahoney gray color in real life?
the quartzo natural colors in real life I don't get too convinced in how natural they look, at least on my skin, but in pics and vids they look amazing !, the ocre NC look more yellowish brown but extremely natural, and in pics depending on the lighting they could look greyish brown, NOW, the hidrocor ocre they look more grey than brown BUT a bit vampirish

I had no idea Solotica exported lenses. I'm brazilian and I wanted to buy the Cristal color, but I'm afraid it'll happen what someone commented before: I've tried other lenses and they keep "swimming" in my eyes, they're never where they should be, so instead of looking incredible, I feel like I'm a snake. It looks creepy. I haven't bought them yet because of that. Guess my eyes are too curvy :(

Sorry, No offense to you at all, but that limbo ring it does give the impression as fake one's, however you are very wise in colors because all the colors you have chosen look great on you except the ring around the eyes go with Hidrocor much better. I was thinking that the ones with the ring would be okay to go party at night only but nor for the day my opinion only therefore you did not waste your money at all because you can use it at night time. 12-31-16

Very well done review! Excellent lighting. So glad you didn't wash out your face with incorrect lighting which seems to be rampant on TH-cam. Anyway, since you asked for feedback...and don't mind me throwing my two cents in........The Mel are very nice and perhaps just a tad more "realistic" or "believable" in the fact that they would be the ones most likely NOT to illicit a comment from someone because that color is so commonly seen with olive skin. I feel any comment from an observer would be more along the line of "oh, you have beautiful eyes" vs that stupid comment us contact wearers get "Oh, are those your eyes" "Is that your natural eye color?". Both questions by the way translate to "I can tell those aren't real, or they don't look real, etc. I think the Quartzo are the most striking on you. Truly stunning actually. I believe the believe-ability factor is there but perhaps slightly less than the Mel but only in the sense that light blue-ish green-ish eyes are much more rare with olive skin. Your last pair, the Ocre. well I hate to say it but I'm not a big fan of that color. Not just on you but on anyone although I have seen some with Black eyes it looks good on. My problem with that color is I feel its too close to your overall skin tone which makes your eyes sort of gets lost in your face. I don't mean to be critical or to sound rude. Just thought I would share. Cheers and thanks again for posting.

Natural Colors look better on you and on men in general. Women can get away with Hidrocor because they use eyeliner. I tried Hidrocor (i'm a guy) and it made me look like a zombie.
