(47) Picking - Abus E30 euro profile (english subtitles)

- After picking the E20, Tobias got himself an Abus E30. The name suggests it's a tougher version of the E20 but it picks quite the same. So, where's the difference ? (Also, there's another cat incident)
(We share our knowledge on lockpicking, which is the non-destructive opening of locks without a key, to fascinate others about our hobby. We open no other locks than our own or that were given to us by the owner solely for that purpose. Lockpickers open locks, not doors.)

Thank you ! They are a lot longer. At least twice as long as most pins in other euro locks. It's a nice thing to throw at pickers because the feedback is so strange... :-)
The difference as far as I could find out is that the E30 comes with 5 keys instead of 3 and can be unlocked even if there's another key inserted on the other side. It's totally understandable to change the number to clearify. Considering that those differences are only marginal I would have named them E20 and E21, though.
Ich kenne das nur zu gut, ein unangenehmes Geräusch, wenn die Katze mal wieder zu viele Haare gefressen hat und dann die ganze Zeit würgt ;D. Ziemlich lange pins in dem E30 drin und die ganzen Torpedos :), das braucht echt schon Skill :), sehr gut Tobias. Ob es für die NG Funktion wirklich eine eigene Schlosslinie braucht...Es ist auch jeden Fall nicht schlecht :).
Danke dir. :-) Anscheinend hatte die Katze auch nen total dämlichen Gesichtsausdruck (was ich zum Glück nicht sehen konnte), deshalb konnte Julian auch kaum noch an sich halten. :-)
Die Pins sind total super. Abus versucht da wirklich frischen Wind reinzubringen und baut überall was anderes ein. Finde ich Klasse. Die Nummerierung ist tatsächlich etwas irreführend. Erinnere mich aber gerade, dass Wilka, das glaube ich noch abgefahrener macht. Man kann, meine ich, an der Nummer genau ablesen was für Zusatzfunktionen das Schloss hat.

Danke schön! Der Unterschied ist, dass man beim E30 das Schloß auch aufschließen kann, wenn in der anderen Seite ein Schlüssel steckt. Aber das macht beim Picken keinen Unterschied. :-)

Welche Größe muss der Hook haben für so enge zylinder?Hab ein set aber kein Hook passt!beim setzen der PINs verkeilt der sich andauernd =(

Thank you. I recommend the HUK disassembly kit. It's pretty cheap and has a lot of useful stuff that's usually a lot more expensive. :-)

Der einzige Unterschied besteht wohl darin dass das E30 bei steckenden Schlüssel beidseitig schließbar ist.
Genau. Das ist auch das was ich rausfinden konnte. Die Not und Gefahrenfunktion und außerdem bekommt man 5 Schlüssel, statt nur 3.
