That's my favorite song off that album. I never knew Al B. Sure was the lead vocal!

Never knew Al B Sure was singing the leads. I thought it was Teddy Riley. Coincidentally me and my daughter and I were playing this song on a road trip recently. She's only 22 and hooked on the New Jack Swing sound 😊

I’m just GLAD Timmy finally got his chance to tell the TRUTH. I used to LOVE Guy . After hearing his story & how they wronged him & stole the group HE created from him . I kinda could care less for GUY now . Nevertheless it’s funny how it worked out in the End . He still got his dues . While the members got wronged & THEIR publishing stolen . Salute Timmy .

I first met Timmy in LA at a night club called Paradise in Hollywood. I was working with a young group called The Boys, they had several big songs like Dial My Heart and Crazy. It was me, the Boys and Mike Tyson at the velvet rope lol. I saw Tim and recognized him from the Guy album cover. This is 1989 before he was doing anything else that I knew about. Of course they let us in. Mike went in the Boys went in and I was going in. I saw the bouncers stop Tim. I told them he was cool, he was with us and they let him in.

Wow, what a story. And to think that Timmy was pushed out of Guy within a few weeks of the album release and had to watch his creation become global without him was heartbreaking

After decades this is finally confirmed of what we all were suspecting. I have all the guys solo albums and neither of them could come close to sounding like the lead on that song. So, with that said, I am officially removing that song off of Guy's debut album in my iTunes collection and placing it on Al B. Sures debut album as a bonus track under his name.

  • @Stablemable2
    @Stablemable2 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

Ive heard this song since the release and always thought the lead vocal was actually Damion "Crazy Legs" Hall.
Because the name Crazy Legs and song title seem have a connection.
But yeah I hear the Al B vocals on this Guy album. I think it was labeled a bonus track at the time.
The song is the jam, and I recently downloaded the extended cut with that extra groove.

You Can Call Me Crazy Michael Jackson was inspired by that song for the 1991 dangerous album because he wanted to work with Teddy Riley

There's essentially no way any one other than those directly involved could know the actual story and the details connecting it. That being said Mr Tim's version of events seems a more logical fit based on how the song is structured (if Mr Gene just wanted to finish the song and Tim was not available why not have Mr Aaron or Mr Teddy sing one of the verses instead of keeping Al B Sure's vocals on it). Regardless this song remains one of my favorite Guy offerings like this here remains one of my favorite channels. Have a great rest of the week, All.

Yeah, I'm gonna go with Tim's version. Teddy's story telling is a lil sketchy at times. And now I'm finding out that the songs were written before Teddy even got there. Incredible.

      John 10:34 ACTS 17:48
      "SOUL" MEANS "SUN" i.e. SON!
No one outside of self ever sacrificed self for anyone else's salvation, nor is any outside of self ever coming!
Why would one want to live, work and succeed in a world that sacrificed a savior, especially as that world is due to be destroyed?!
Has thee not then been duped into co-signing sacrifice and even of self as ye "lives" in a world where people "work for a living" and still die with little to no choice of their own?! If not paid actual living as this world states that is what ye is working for, is this world not then under the spell of the FALSE PROFIT?!

Does anyone know this rare song from Guy that I heard on the radio back in '88-'89, Aaron was singing "my little angel, you're the apple in my eye, over & over each moment I spend with you" ...can't remember the rest right now, but the chorus sounded like Roger Troutman computerized voice with these women singing "all, all day, the things you do, the things you say". I tried everything & can't find that song.

I lost respect for Teddy when he lied not once but twice about fake MJ posthumous songs being MJ’s vocals. The first instance of course war with the three infamous Tracks on the Michael album and the second was an IG live he did a few years back playing a “demo Michael did” for the song Joy. I happened to follow an MJ impersonator on TH-cam at the time named Marcus Joseph Willams and he sounds like MJ and he did a cover of Joy a year or two prior to Teddy’s live and low and behold the “demo” Teddy played was this impersonator Marcus’ exact cover which I think is still on his channel, the demo Teddy played was the exact verse and stopped at the same point that Marcus’ cover did smh so I’m not surprised he fabricated the story with Timmy as well
