I just started working at a restaurant recently and this is 100% accurate. I see average blokes on the daily basis with decent looking and sometimes very attractive women. Sometimes the dudes I see with these women have the "incel" look. And meanwhile I have one of the most aesthetic physiques known to man. Im considered average to above average looking facially. And with these two elements I get choosing signals pretty much everywhere I go. I'm talking women literally staring and smiling at me right in front of their boyfriends. This has happened multiple times and it's awkward AF bc I'm not the type of dude to just walk up to a guy and take his girl lol. And despite all this, I have nothing, no one. People assume I'm out here playing but nope. I haven't built myself into the man I need to be to even have that privilege. Sure, I could still do it if I wanted and I've had a few experiences here and there but there's just something inside me that knows I shouldn't even be entertaining that right now or I just subconsciously believe I don't deserve it. So when people say it's about confidence and just being a solid man, that's actually true. Looks only catch peoples eye because it's pleasing to look at or even fantasize about. But ultimately, who you are as a person will always trump some thing that inevitably fades. It's actually common sense when you think about it and I'm sure every man in the comment section can vouch for this as well.

100% agree with you on this. I've always argued against the 80/20 rule because there's a lot of assumptions being made. It doesn't even sound realistic if you go outside. Not all women will have access to the top 20% of men. They're not gonna even end up in their vicinity. Women just like men, do settle. They do end up with men they don't like. Also most women don't have the confidence to pursue a good looking man. I've gotten into so many arguments with other women regarding this because they could not stand the idea of being with a pretty boy. It's one of their biggest insecurities. It’s funny I wasn’t a virgin when I graduated high school but didn’t have a nearly as much experience as I do now at 23. I definitely didn’t bloom in high school I had a lot of issues going on and was too afraid to talk to my crushes which changed periodically. It’s only now that I’m starting to bloom with women and still I’m not where I want to be. Being a late bloomer taught me so much. I did miss out on prom night and never dated in high school, but when I got to college that changed forever. I grew from 5ft 7 to 5ft 11 and lets just say a combination of getting taller, building more muscle and being in greek life was very good.

I just turned 36 three weeks ago. I've been with women, just not the ones I actually want. I'm hoping I'll be able to improve so I can get 20-somethings in my forties.
I'm 42, and I have been dating various girls in my 20s until I was 29 when I met a girl I fell in love with. She friend-zoned me immediately when I started being romantic with her. I hoped one day she would love me too if I kept giving gifts to her, sending love messages, and talking on the phone for hours telling her how I love her. I have been fool enough to do that for 3 years until it really pissed me off and I decided to forget about her. The problem is, I haven't been able to find a woman worthy ever since. It's been more than 10 years and I am still alone, haven't dated anyone at all. With each year, it's getting worse and worse. The age gap between me and women who can get pregnant is getting big.

I bloomed out when I was 26(47 today) years old. After couple of failed dates and relationships, I finally met my current girlfriend when I was 40 years old and she was 25 years old. I still workout hard to maintain my body fit and lean. But I work extra to get money for our abroad travels.

My first time was two days after my HS graduation. I'm not in the top 2%, 3%, 10%, or even 20% of guys. If you're in that rare air group of guys, women will throw themselves at you. If you're not in that rare air group of guys, women may not throw themselves at you, but you will find someone. It'll just be harder, you'll have to put yourself out there more, but it can and will happen.
In my case, my first was a classmate of mine who'd taken a liking to me. We'd gotten to know each other after being class assignment partners in American History. Next thing I knew, she was throwing herself in my orbit. The proverbial doors always opened, and I just had to walk through them. Our relationship lasted 11 months and included a pregnancy scare at around month 7 which was the beginning of the end. She eventually monkey-branched to another guy, an older guy who orbited and eventually convinced her he was a better option.
Point is, your chance will come--probably when you least expect it. But Chads and Tyrones will always orbit, especially the younger the woman is

There's good points you make about the blooming and lksmxg stuff. But the importance of how someone looks cannot be overstated. Sure you can get a girl but most girls will settle when they can't, for whatever reason, get the guy that they really want. I'm sure a lot of people have heard the old guy with the nagging wife. Well that's probably because the woman he ended up with only settled for him because she had to make a decision choice being married and taken care of with stability or not. And divorce was more difficult in the older days. Now they don't have to settle into a long term marriage/relationship and can bail anytime they feel like it. It does take looks for there to be any real attraction and lust Genuine true love is and always has been for the very good looking. Just look at the success of the twilight movies. It's every girl's fantasy. There's a genetic aristocracy.

It’s funny I wasn’t a virgin when I graduated high school but didn’t have a nearly as much experience as I do now at 23. I definitely didn’t bloom in high school I had a lot of issues going on and was too afraid to talk to my crushes which changed periodically. It’s only now that I’m starting to bloom with women and still I’m not where I want to be. Being a late bloomer taught me so much. I did miss out on prom night and never dated in high school, but when I got to college that changed forever. I grew from 5ft 7 to 5ft 11 and lets just say a combination of getting taller, building more muscle and being in greek life was very good.
