Yep! Little by little I’ll buy better parts. It’s a lot though. I was getting ragged on for using eagle rods… 8 years of abuse close to their rating, 6 different engines, 3 blown up engines and the rods are still perfect. And they fit the budget. Maybe I’ll start buying one Callie’s rod per month 🤣
Brother, you have paid your dues in money and frustration. You don’t owe any explanations or have to make excuses for your current situation. All parts break sooner or later. Well maybe not those rods. You hammered them all those years in multiple engines so you got more than what you paid for…so to speak. If they were 6” long with Cleveland size big ends, I could buy them to help you pay for a new set. If you want Callie’s rods just mortgage the farm and rob a couple of liquor stores to make it happen. The most amazing part of it all is how you still have a pleasant demeanor and a smile despite the unpleasant bullshit dumped upon your BMF ride ! Just clear your mind because it knows what scares you 😳. No worries man. You got this under control but just don’t know it yet. 🏁
The rods are 2.10 big end. I’m going to keep them alive and bring back an N/A cleavor build with them next year for a street car I’m building. They will live a good life lol
@@BMF_Garage The last time I got the urge to build a Clevor using a Dart block, the good news was how the block and crank was available with the specs you mentioned. The bad news was the unfortunate cost of the block. Bummer 🙈

I’m feeling like the Bozo on the bus now. 🤡Somebody swapped the crank mains size for the BE rod size 🤷♂️ Oh well….CLEVORS RULE !
