I agree with many who commented that Blake will be missed greatly. I think he set an important tone for The Voice, which was really appreciating the contestants and being genuinely interested in supporting them as much as he could. Whereas the star judges could have reacted to contestants in an ego-based way, Blake's manner help to ensure that didn't happen. His good-natured humor and genuine enjoyment of the process was important to the success of the show and helped to ensure a similar approach by the other judges, and his authenticity in how he reacted to the performances was a big help as well. He always seemed to know how to strike the balance between commentating for humor, for entertainment, and to make an impression on the contestants so they would pick him. I don't know whether The Voice would have been as successful without him.He's a one-of-a-kind.

You're right, Blake IS the voice
Blake is also one of the few coaches that kept in touch with and supported his team members long after the show has ended over the years. He has toured with them, brought them along on his tours, introduced them to his home, his Ole Red bars and shows and collabed with them on multiple music projects and songs. On the earlier seasons when the show didn't provide much outside support to the contestants while they were out in LA doing the show, Blake paid money out of his own pocket to help them out as well - at least that's what I've heard from contestants.
It's going to take me along time to get used to The Voice without the GOAT, the OG Blake Shelton. He is the king of the Voice. Love U Blake ❤❤❤. We're all gonna miss u very much😭

Blake changed my mind about Country music right from the first season. I loved the man. I did not realise this was his last season. Now I know why I wasn't getting his notifications. I no longer find the Voice entertaining and have never heard of these newbies. Some of the international chairs have gross and immoral behavior and I can't be bothered watching them. 😢😢I'm seriously missing the old crowd.❤❤ go well Jake ❤

For me personally, it's because I don't even live in the U.S., so not seeing him on The Voice, means not seeing him at all! Unless he does something on television again. He doesn't tour outside of the U.S. sadly 😢

I feel like Blake has given The Voice its voice all of these years. He has held the show up through all these years. He’s a comedian, a teacher and a best friend to all of the other coaches through the years. His relationship with not only the coaches but all of his picks is uplifting. I am hoping that they give him the ultimate send off. Bringing back past contestants from Dia Frampton to this years contestants. Plus all of the coaches that he has worked with.
