    Just a small suggestion: carrying a hatchet or small ax and you could split those round pieces of wood and they might burn a tad better. Good video.

      Hey, thanks for your input!
      I always carry my hultafors Aby Forest axe, but I was being exceptionally lazy that weekend haha. You are right, split wood burns a lot cleaner and hotter but I sometimes use rounds to get a longer burn if it's not too cold out.
      Thanks for watching!

      Wicked!
      Are you using a hammock with your set up or using poles like a wall style?

      Hey thanks for watching and for your feed back!
      Under my channel you'll find "First look at Pomoly dweller stove"
      It has its issues but it is SO nice with the glass!

      I use a POMOLY stove hut hot tent and find that those fans are a great idea to move the heat around the living area.

      Thank you very much! It's been a slow learning curve, but hopefully my videos keep improving.
      Yes those fans are fantastic, they make a big difference in comfort. I usually place a small battery fan on the ridge as well to force the heat back down. Cheap and effective.

      Right!?
      Something about it makes it feel small, even though it's actually massive. Maybe it's just too narrow.
      I love OneTigris as well, great affordable gear. Thanks for watching!

      I've been considering the Pomoly circle 6. Looks really decent for 300 bucks. And massive.

      That's the chilly moose harbour bucket. Great cooler! Keeps ice for about three days in the summer.

    Hi, thank you for the review, when did you buy the stove? I'm asking because the Dweller 3 is currently selling for USD535 and the Dweller 2 for USD499 (the price includes shipping with DHL) I've watch other reviews and apparently the problem with the damper has been fixed on the newest version (3.0).
    Thanks for sharing your experience, all the best from Chile.

      @tentingWT  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No problems!
      The stove was purchased in August 2023. I definitely have the original dweller version. I have seen the 2.0 selling from amazon.ca for 610.00 CAD.
      Thank you very much for watching!

      @@tentingWT oh I see it was CAD600 I thought you bought it for USD600. I'm thinking about buying the Dweller 2.0 or 3.0 I've been logging in Pomoly's website daily and I have so far uss60 on discount by doing that Xd plus some discount codes they gave me. I live in Chile, so it's summer time for us right now. I'll be buying the stove by the end of April I think.

    • @tentingWT
      @tentingWT  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@sydgerald I do really like the stove. I can live with the issues it has, but if the 3.0 fixes it then I would 100 percent go for it!

    • @sydgerald
      @sydgerald 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@tentingWT I totally agree with you. What I like about 2.0 and 3.0 is that they moved the pipe to the side, so you get more cooking space. As far as the door handle and damper, some reviewers say it had improved. Apparently with the titanium version it doesn't happen, but they're too expensive for me.
      Having said that, I really like the design of the Dweller, I do car camping and I have a Pomoly dome tent, so I don't mind the bulk, but for sure the Dweller looks good.

    Would the stove Jack be okay for a 5” stove pipe

    • @tentingWT
      @tentingWT  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The hole in the provided jack is 3.3"
      You can cut them wider, but I think 5" would be pushing it for safety reasons. Unless it is a double insulated chimney pipe?
      If that's the case you could most likely take the jack completely off and just put the pipe through the hole.
