The Harley Davidson X440 is powered by an all-new 440cc, 2-valve, air-oil-cooled single pot motor. It produces 28PS at 6000rpm and 38Nm at 4000rpm. In fact, the company claims 90 percent of the torque comes in at as low as 2000rpm. The motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox and gets a slip and assist clutch. In terms of rider aid, you get traction control and dual-channel ABS. That said, in motion the bike does let out a sweet thump. The new engine rests in a trellis frame which is suspended on an 43mm upside down fork (USD) at the front, and gas-charged, preload-adjustable dual shocks at the back. The X440 runs on 18-/17-inch alloy wheels (spoke rims in base variant) shod in new MRF Zapper Hyke tyres - 100/80-18 (front) and 140/70-17 (rear). Braking is managed by a 320mm disc with axially-mounted ByBre caliper at the front and 240mm disc at the back. Dual channel ABS is offered as standard. It weighs 190.5kg kerb, has a seat height of 805mm and a decent 170mm of ground clearance.

Speed serves different purpose than this. They don't compare
