Chub Fishing On The River Wensum | November 2023

In this one, I head down to the river wensum for some chub fishing. The same spot I caught a cracking fish on January 2023. let's see how I get on 😁

Nice video. Brings back memories of 30 years ago when I last fished there. Used to be some lovely fish then. Only reason I stopped fishing there was, cars were getting damaged.

Thanks mate, a few years ago the owner of the field next door put up cctv as he had a lot of fly tipping. I fish it a lot this time of year and have never had an issue with the car. I'm fishing the wensum again tomorrow but a different stretch

Yes mate, plenty of pike in this stretch

The stock would shock some people low road, and the marlpit stretch are great. Happy to share some spots if you ever fancy meeting up having a coffee and a few casts (i live between the 2 stretches)

Nice mate, I too fish marlpit. I love fishing that stretch when the river is on flood. I am hopefully popping down again in Feb. I live about 20 miles away now, but fish there when I can 😁
