I fish the bure often myself. The waveney is more local to me but a 35min drive and I'm at the river bure. It's a great river. My favorite of local rivers anyway .caught some nice pike in there and good size bream (yuk) lol . I find perch bit tricky along the wider stretches but where you are .iv done well on perch

I watched with excitement as I ate my king-size chicken and mushroom pot noodle in a scalding bath. Your new kettle reminds me of my time spent on the apallcian trails. Sorry, not the apallcian trails, I meant the ASDA Ilse 2 cookware section. They had a kettle. Looked nothing like yours. I'm just putting it out there. I've thought about taking my kids Mackerel fishing as they love to eat it, but I've only ever done it from a boat. I'm close to Norfolk coast and it always strikes me that it would be too shallow? Not a fisherman, any tips or advice welcome. 🤣

I live near great Yarmouth. I would love to catch mackeral. Not sure it is good around here for that though

After getting lost coming down Sugar loaf mountain (for 4hrs) we had to alter our itinerary somewhat (we lost a day to rest), we had planned to see this falls after doing the 4 waterfall walk but had to skip it with our changed route. Congrats on the baby btw ♥

A few years back i was walking along the beach at Horsey Gap. There were railway tracks along there as well. Although a lot of it was buried under the sand. I have been back a few times since and not managed to find it again. I don't know if they would have been connected at some point but that line was also on the beach. Although it was at the bottom of the sand dunes.

Even if it is all unproved, it is so sad how so much of the coast is now in the sea, it is weird that is hasn't been properly documented I grew up close to Aldeburgh so places being reclaimed isn't something new to me but things that are in my living memory is always pretty poignant. Also I would quite literally crap my pants waking along a piece of coast where I can see high tide is SO high!
