I think all creative people(even the 'successful' ones) struggle with feelings of self doubt, but given that the man who wrote 'I just don't think I'll ever get over you' has now done a beautiful cover of 'Driving...' and says it's one of the best songs ever written, I think Justin Currie has permission to ignore any doubts he might have about his abilities. You're absolutely right Colin, it is one of the best songs ever written.

Colin, only found out a few weeks ago your a Scottish git like me...lol, am a Glasgow boy, and i used to go to Saltcoats for ma holidays when a was 9. or 11...lol..anyway..iv been listening to men at work for ever. now am listening to the man that was men at work and bud your an unmistakeable good sound, Gods speed bud, you will never die history will remember you and how many time you went around the sun.
I love the original and I'm so glad you covered it Colin. Giving it your inimitable treatment it is the perfect marriage of a great song being given a great treatment from a guy who knows exactly how to write truly memorable songs as well..

Must say that 2021 has been a great year for music with new albums from Del Amitri, Crowded House, Teenage Fanclub, Gary Louris and now this excellent covers album from Colin Hay.
I know I am being greedy, but please release the album as an all acoustic version. I love the album (got a signed one, thank you!) but you are just too good at this. An acoustic version of the album would be GREAT.
