1000% agreed. They were my two guys because even though I wasn't at the time old enough to be in an HBCU and I wasn't upper middle class, I had parents with the value of education and discipline. My pops didn't play, but he cared about my future...even if sometimes he had to show it at the end of a belt. He was also a nurturer and a provider, something Black fathers are never given enough credit for. Those two qualities beget sons like Theo and Dwayne. Which is exactly what I wanted to be.
I could not agree with you more on what you typed here. Theo Huxtable came a long way from Season 1 as a "slacker" in school, but found out that he had dyslexia and did something about to me to attend grad school. The series finale was one of my all-time favorite! It is a true story about Cosby's son, Ennis. Dwayne Wayne from Season 1 was a goofy, nerdy, stereotypical geek, but Season 2-6, he transformed into an intelligent young man and married Whitley Gilbert.
Growing up watching it I loved seeing the food , the hoagies, the chili and this scene . Now having three boys and my husband , I understand, it’s like feeding an army, and my youngest has a pallet and if he has traveled a bit , lol and he is 6 .
I remember seeing this episode as a kid because we were told my uncle was gonna be in it. Andy Anderson, Damien Leake my uncle it was so cool seeing him on TV and on the Cosby Show no less. Cherished memory ❤
I see at the informal interviews…(Theo used the RFK approach)… Ask not what your company can do or will do for you. Tell them what you can do for that company.
This was before Thai Food really became popular. Also check out how Theo does his Finances. He uses a Bank Register Ledger now it's just a couple of clicks with The Phone, IPAD, Laptop, and even an Excel Sheet that I use for my own finances.

Maaaan 1 thing bout Theo. If food was involved...he was there and he was often get called out on it. The anniversary episode..Clair called em on out on the cherries. When Theo moved out..he'll invite himself to dinners/stuff his face. Although Cliff/Clair made fun of him..he did not care. This scene here...Theo look a lil silly. When you out in public and you stuffin ya face like that...not a good look and he dont look mature...he look like a big kid 😆🤦🏾♂️ But the most memorable Theo moment when it came to food....When Theo killed em 4 burgers Cliff brought home from Circus Burger...40 seconds 😲😲...then the burp..😆😆
Was there ever a time on The Cosby Show Theo cared what people thought of him. He's not interested in the people or the Soup company all he wants to do is eat & take food home with him. LOL
