3:45 people are mad because they sliced the top scoring by ALOT, we were do for a 165 or so by this point but the scoring system cuts it by 30 eggs. Before it felt like you really had to hustle and use alot of skill to crack gold. Now its just a predetermined nintendo number not set by the communitys efforts. I get around a 150 on my first run in each big run so its abit disappointing when I get the group together, ready for a an hour only to reach it in 4 minutes.
The problem really was that the playerbase dropped way too much after the first big run that the top 5% was harder to achieve. And with a lower playerbase it was honestly more like being lucky to get the right waves. So it's not only the lack of skill. They should've made it more like a fun event where maybe the community as a whole works towards a goal (like killing x amount of king salmonids). We now have a competitive salmon run mode anyway with eggstra work.
the scores are based on the first big run, of course they would change over time but with how much some players overfish it would make it impossible for freelancers or people who don’t spend every minute grinding salmon run. if the super competitive people want a percentage-based scoring system they still have eggstra work.
I miss them. I wish for them to come home so we can get further revenge and also 483794644 scales

i have struggled to beat any of the bosses so i didnt think id ever beat triumvirate but i lucked out and got it second try (none others though)
