I personally liked the silly and song types best. The former because silly, and the latter because I like the idea of a sound type. Also, even if it’s not 1 of my favorite types, the Ohio type was the funniest to me because when ever I think of that state, it reminds me of a certain guy who talks about stupid Nintendo games.

The combo of Alpharad typing "Skill Issue" in chat immediately followed by Fyrus typing "L" was so powerful.

i love that the modders kinda realise that with x16~32 damage being possible.... but, it's such a large boost it actually overflows the damage back to 0~1... and they just called it a feature
Or just bring an Uno Reverse type and make Sylvally the one 16x weak to everything ;P

@jasonkeith2832 well integers work in a way underflows and overflows are borh problems from going 1 below the maximum or munimum number
Tho to get -16x when defense goes below but never at 0x is proly impossible
@@molassesman4066 I'd imagine that there is some block in place that sets low enough values to 1 damage, given how base pokemon games have many circumstances where attacks deal 1 damage naturally as their lower threshold due to how defensive stats work.

I fancy myself a ghost-type enthusiast, with a side of fairy and ice, but I'm willing to throw all that out the window and switch to furry-type
Omg we have the same favorite types, like even in the same order and everything (Ghost on top, fairy and ice in second)
I fancy myself a Ghost type trainer with a preference for Steel and Flying types, myself...
But you can never go wrong with a good Hex Alolan Ninetales

Love that the whole premise is "There's so many new types! They all have totally new strengths and weaknesses!!!" and everyone I see play this forgets that *immediately* and assumes stuff like that 1st gym where the Baltoy SHOULD be weak to water, but it's ancient type which definitely wasn't. I'd do that too but it's a fun time watching the brainrot set in as the types get more and more complex. (the fact that you were speeding up the Gyms, which are boss equivalents, absolutely terrifies me)

@dsflame4767 I feel like I have seen a few people play the 50+ type Pokemon version but I forget the usernames you could try typing it I the TH-cam Search Bar or on Twitch as well but yeah since it is newer you might not find that many playing it but Alpharad did leave a link for other people to play the game I think. Also Alpharad's TH-cam version of the video is shorter the Twitch version was 8 or so Hours long if you want to watch his full version.
4:28 Marill being gender type is a reference to a bug in Ruby and Sapphire (and maybe Emerald, I don't remember if they fixed it for that game) where female Azurill had a 33% chance to evolve into a male Marill.
5:23 Remoraid's beta Gen 2 sprite was modeled after a gun (and Octilerry was modeled after a tank). But the idea was scrapped because, well, this is a children's game.
14:02 Mew wasn't actually under the truck; The truck is nearly impossible to get to (you can only access it with Surf, but you no longer have access to it when you would traditionally get Surf), and you gain absolutely nothing for going there. There's also a single diary talking about Mew in the game, but Mew doesn't appear anywhere else. So naturally, people assumed the mysterious truck with no apparant purpose and the mysterious Pokemon that doesn't appear anywhere were connected.
Actually, the Azurill gender switch bug wasn't fixed until X and Y. It was a thing throughout three entire generations of games.

Remoraid is still based on a gun, and octillery is still based on a tank, it’s just more loose now and not as apparent.
There’s a revive hidden under the truck in the Kanto Switch games.

I remember that the Uno Reverse Type Reverses all type interactions, which theoretically could mean that Emerald type would become weak to everything.
Wallace is literally showing you how to counter Type/Emerald, yes.
Unless you have Delphox, which is dealt so much damage, the game registers it as it taking -1 hp.
I don’t know how it took me this long to realize, but they actually show you a way to beat the Silvally. The first Pokémon on their team is the perfect counter to something that’s usually super effective against everything.

@@enlongjones2394 If you don't know, Uno Reverse reverse the advantage/weakness chart, so Emerald that resists everything would take double damage from everything and with likewise be ineffective against everything.

I love certain type matchups, even if I don't know the entire type chart.
Sus is weak to space.
And we can't forget the champion's Uno Reverse Baby that resists all, is supereffective against all, and is just unfair.
Fun Fact: the Prime type is given to any pokemon with their pokedex number being a prime number.
And Type Emerald combo if you have 3 types causes a x16 which just creates an integer overload, Jacob literally took 1 damage from that.
Also, Uno Reverse Type is strong against Emerald Type, because it flips the Type chart of its opponent, thus making Emerald Type weak to everything and its attacks resisted by everything.
Sus is NOT weak to Space, actually.
Another type on Cradily was.
Sus is neutral to Space.
Nevertheless, Magic Missile is actually OP lol

Azurill being a gender might be a reference to a bug in gen 3 where azurill could switch genders when evolving because of a coding error and a different gender ratio
iirc the gender bug wasn't fixed until Gen 6 or something, it stuck around for a while.

Man, the amount of new typing and new moves added to the game made it very confusing… in a fun way :D

Rats should have rat exclusive ability rat that makes all physical attacks have a chance at applying both confusion and poison (rabies) as long as the enemy mon wasnt also a rat type

I think the gender type on the azurill line is a reference to how in early gens azurill would change gender upon evolving due to the different gender ratios

No see the way you beat Sylvally in this is to have a Uno Reverse Card type, because that type reverses all other type interactions, thereby making Sylvally 16x weak to everything

Uhhh it's close but probably Silly, I love silliness and tooniness and it has all the Toontown references and aaagh, especially since Primarina is the best starter and the third best evo line behind Chatot and Squawkabilly? Was using a Crab monotype, and Kingler, my starter, against all odds, defeated the Mega-Metagross and gained just enough EXP to reach level 58, and then the guy JUST ONESHOT THE THING BY LANDING A GUILLOTINE
