    Stunning, just stunning. The care taken, attention to detail, preparation, and presentation are second to none. I'm absolutely sure that Sea Bella will sell quickly and, hopefully, give the new owners as much joy as she has so obviously given to you both. Honestly, if my financial situation had been healthier, then I would be on the next flight to Fiji to snap up Sea Bella myself!     Good luck on selling her. She's in amazing shape and taken care of like a good boat should be kept. Love the aft master and the large bed. Resting well on passage is important for safety reasons, so there's that. Love the staysail. I crewed on a Jason 35 cutter rig here in Alaska and when the winds pick up, that sail is a must!
    I own a restored Catalina 30 with many custom features like reinforced backing plates on the chainplates and stanchions, a half cockpit enclosure (I live in Juneau which is a temperate rain forest), a diesel heater, 3 solar panels (they work well even when it's cloudy here), extendable bunks, slide out shelfs in the galley, lazyjacks and jack lines, etc. Have crewed on a 38' catamaran and man, that's the way to go it you want stability on the hook or under sail.

    That seems like a very good deal for someone, who wants a solid blue water capable monohul for cruising, especially considering all the maintenance and upgrades done. They really should reconsider the dream going to a performance catamaran. Those absolutely, as even the name suggest, are not build for cruising. First of all, performance catamarans all have very narrow hulls, meaning much less accommodation, than the footprint of the boat would suggest and they all got very low load caring abilities. I used to be a fan of the Seawind 1160, but that ended, when I found out, thanks to online foras, because almost no performance catamaran builder publish these figures for obvious reasons, that these three cabin catamarans only got 1½ ton max loading capacity. You have to consider, that covers EVERYTHING, that you put onto such a boat, other than it comes with from new: Extra equipment (yes, also watermakers and washing machine), all your provision, gear, clothes and fuel and water and also all sorts of toys. It is not a lot, and they sure will have to change attitude towards stuffing their boat with spares and all that. Many Seawind 1160 owners also complains, that they had to buy locker rooms for all their extra gear, and Seawind is not one of the worst boats out there. Even Seth, the so-called president of HH, who is one of the greatest propagandist for the performance catamaran craze, has in one of his videos admitted, that his Outremer 51, loaded to family life cruising, do not performe at all, so why pay all the extra money? On top, he also admitted, that out at sea they basically had to enclose the aft cockpit at all times, otherwise it would not even be safe for their children to be in at all. That is another thing; an overloaded performance catamaran have very little tolerance in weight and might not just go drastic down in performance, but may also outright be unstable and unsafe to sail at all. For cruising the cruising type multihuls or a good old tried monohul is simply always better and much more tolerant, when it comes to load bearing capacity. In real life the cruising catamaran may actually outright outperform the performance catamaran, when both are loaded for cruising and circumnavigating purposes. FP Saba 50 for instance has clocked 20 knots many times in Atlantic crossings and can do so fully loaded. Good luck getting those numbers out of a HH, Balance or Outremer fully loaded for cruising. The most ridiculous part of this craze is, that many of the performance catamarans has cramped living conditions, as for instance the Outremer 51, that seriously got a galley the size of most RVs! Smaller than most monohul galleys! That is just silly! The only performance catamaran, that I would consider, if I had the money, is Windelo 54, which also tellingly were designed from the get go to maintain peak performance fully loaded, unlike essentially all other performance catamarans on the market.

    Having “ been there, done that”, with a very similar boat KP 44 latest model I can strongly endorse this boat. And I am also a 100 Ton Master. Wow, so well equipped. Center cocpit WITH its’s own conpanionway is a great feature. We also had a Perkins 4-236, but you are wrong on the engine life. You said it has 4500 hrs and will go another 5000 hrs. Well you are wrong and I can prove it. When we sold out boat it had nearly 20,000 hrs and was STILL running quite well. This is easily a 20,000 hr motor, properly cared for. Sounds like great spares too. One thing for someone to add to that List is a spare mixing elbow or equivalent. Love the design. And with that equipment and care, that sounds very attractive. Happy selling and buying.

      I honestly don't know, but probably around $70K. I wouldn't recommend it on a cruising yacht though. Many reasons for this, efficiency of battens, weight aloft and affecting overall balance of the boat, no way to drop the sail if it gets stuck, more wear and tear on sail when furling unless you are perfectly aligned with the wind, ect.
