CJ was the MVP of the Bartlett administration, which is no small feat considering the company she kept. She was always the calming voice, the one who talked people off the ledge, and she did it with humor and wit to remind everyone that this job should be fun and serious at the same time.
Bernard and the painting, Marion Coatsworth Hay of Marblehead, the Jackal, the egg and the equinox, Danny and the goldfish, the shooting range with agent Donovan, the new Chief of Staff announcement..... "Avert your eyes, I'm clingy"!!!!!!!!!!
The attention to detail: when Ron Butterfield sits down at CJ’s computer, he places his hand over his left armpit, to stop his shoulder-holstered pistol swinging forward. A great piece of acting/direction; it’s the little details like that that, and the thought and care behind them, that can turn a good show onto an outstanding one.
This is a curious compilation that has a lot of recent uploads from the channel and not: -Danny giving CJ her goldfish, Gail -Josh confiding in CJ, as he contemplates the NSC Card -The Jackal (How do you do a CJ compilation and not include The Jackal?) -CJ giving a press conference after the Rosslyn shooting -“CJ, you fell into the pool there.” -Bartlet talks CJ down from resigning (Manchester, Part 2) -CJ teaches the reporter a lesson -Woman of Qumar -Abbey, Amy, Donna and CJ get drunk -CJ and Simon at the gun range -Any scene from The Long Goodbye -Marion Coatesworth Hayes -CJ confronts Hoynes -CJ gets her footing as the new COS -CJ and Bartlet dance in the Oval, Abbey looks on -CJ comforts Toby after David’s suicide -CJ and Danny have a dinner (“If you’re about to be pushed off a cliff, and I’m about to jump off a cliff, shouldn’t we be holding hands?” -CJ and Danny in her apartment (“I like the sound of your voice)
CJ's character adroitly represented the relationship between The Executive and 'The Fourth Estate'. Allison Janney interpreted a brilliant script very credibly.
I noticed that myself about gnocchi. However, I find myself wondering if he simply said it the way it was spelled in the script. In that case, the writer should have just gone with the correct spelling. Instead, this is a scene where, in a rare exception to the rule, the writer apparently didn’t trust the audience.
How can you possibly pay tribute to C.J. without giving us The Jackal?
Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!
EXACTLY! why wasnt the Jackyl right at the top!?!
Agreed. Or the cartography scene.
And who can forget Marion Coatswoth-Hay?
The Jackal

She was, too often, prone to stupidity.
Claudia Jean for America.
I was thinking "We Love C.J." would have a higher percentage of clips featuring... C.J.
We love C.J. / Allison Janny as an actor and leader to us all.

14:40 Mr Ron Swanson what are you doing in public administration? 😅
I think, I think, and I might be wrong here so please correct me if I'm wrong, but we love Allison Janney!
8:36 who knew Cuddy had an entrance to the White House instead of House MD
6:33 I always knew CJ was tall, but when compared to Abby.
CJ was thrown to the wolves
And then C.J. ate the wolves.
@@aph1976 She ate Pluie
1:20 watch that clock as it’s temporarily obscured by someone’s head … continuity?
5:30 There IS an Indonesian language… 🤦♂️
Whats there anything you just said Food!
DONNA!! 💀💀💀💀
One could tell in that scene that Josh took after Leo when he, after taking a quick look around, would yell: “Margaret!”
C.J.'s snarky response to the reporter about the troop movements was very unprofessional.
I didn't know that Pakistan had any warships in Kashmir. Silly me.
Did we ever find out whether CJ curls? She uses the phrase "right on the button"
Hot cheese Knee-oh-kee. Wtf? Sheeen murders the English language and the Italian language.

Great show. Marvellous writing… unlike your title.. C.J. is onscreen for perhaps less than half the length. Unsubbed.
Moira Kelly was the only irritating thing about this show
