Metropolis Ark 0 gives you a Tutti orchestra focusing on dark, deep, bold, and often very loud perspectives. A nice entry library for those who may be new to Orchestral Tools or the Metropolis Ark series, and a welcome free update to those who own the rest.

About a tutti Orchestra, well Vienna Symphonic Library have done it first with the Big Bang Orchestra and... it's free.
So unless someone really like the Teldex sound versus Synchron Stage, I am not sure who would want to pay 150 bucks for it, or even intro price.
Ark Zero sounds good, a bit distant, but I really like Big Bang Orchestra because it just sounds great, more in your face, more fff and I like their Synchron player so much more than Sine.
Indeed BBO it’s right in your face;) Synchron player and he’s function are just amazing, for sine i guess they will improve in coming versions but already nice and very stable
Yes it’s definitely a current trend to offer a more broad approach with the entire orchestra like BBO and Abbey Road One Orchestral Foundations. It is nice to have the entire orchestra recorded in one session, and I definitely think this is their answer to those libraries, just catered to everyone who already owns the arks or even the Berlin series, since they’re all recorded in the same hall. I have them all but I still love the sound of Teldex, so it’s a welcome addition to the collection IMO.
Hey, what do you suggest to complete my Metropolis Ark Ø? Ark 1 or Ark 2?
Im totally beginner in epic music and i really love this style since a longtime.
Black Friday is still here so i think it's a good opportunity to choose Ark 1 or Ark 2
If you want epic, probably Ark 1.
Ark 1 is loud and dark and doesn't have soft dynamics, so it's ALWAYS loud, and the instrument selection is more traditional.
Ark 2 is the opposite, it's always soft, doesn't go loud, and has more niche instruments like contrabass clarinet, bass trumpets, bass flute, Wagner tubas, euphoniums.

i rechecked all the 25min of the video and looks like Ark Ø have more loud instrument like Ark 1 but a bit less of soft instrument.
i think Ark 2 can be a good balance between loud instrument from Ark Ø and soft intrument from ark 2.
i will still take the time to choose correctly (before the end of black friday). Both ark are just to insane....
Although Metropolis Ark 0 is the cheapest library in the series, I wouldn't buy it first because it's only good for sketching. If you want to buy a solid library for cinematic sound, I would buy Metropolis Ark 1 first, then 2 and so on, and only buy number 0 at the end. MA1 and MA2 are the heart of the series and everything else is optional/supplementary. MA0 is the least flexible library in the series, while the others are divided into different ensembles/sections, which gives you good orchestration options. Of course, within the Orchestral Tools range, nothing beats the Berlin series in terms of flexibility, but this one has a more classical-oriented sound.
Understandably, when you see the price of MA0, especially at the introductory price, I know that one's eyes light up and one's mouth waters figuratively, but I wouldn't have bought it as the first library (of the series) if I had been you. Sometimes saving up for a more expensive product is worth more than buying a cheap one outright.

Im a beginner so right now Ark 0 is totally fine and my final plan it's to have MA1 & MA2.
My skill level is not so huge, so i prefer to start with something *easy* and i think MA0 is the best starter/introduction.
You cant compare arc 0 witj 1 or 2...arc 0 is like a simple libary for fast demo ideas. Compared to ark1 -4 it sounds almost cheap...^^
I grabbed this but for some reason I don't have all those mic positions. I only have spot & tree. Any Idea why that is??
Check your sine player license section. You may just need to download the rest of the mic positions
Actually, although all mic positions are available to download, the OT walkthrough suggests that installing only tree + spot is a good way to save on resources/drive space
If you select the “install basic kit” it will only install those two mics. You can customize which mics to download during this selection, or you can always go back to the “my licenses” section of SINE and select additional mics to install.

your results look like old Metropolis ..1,2,3,and 4......? ...or does it change a lot?
metro 0 is just an orchestral sketching library
Metropolis ark 1 is an all inclusive dark/epic orchestra with sections- high strings, low strings, horns, bass trombones, low woods, percussion, choir.
Metropolis ark 2 is the softer side with a bit more niche instrument selection, but still recorded in sections, it won’t get loud and ark 1 doesn’t do soft, so they compliment each other.
Metropolis ark 3 is mostly short notes with some marcatos, and the majority of the content is percussion or rhythmic (tempo synced shorts for the orchestra,etc).
Metropolis ark 4 is MUCH smaller sections and a lot more “in your face”, still very loud and bold but more focused and tight. More niche instrument selections again, like saxophones and other lesser used instruments. Lots of unique combos here too (two specific instrument sections recorded at the same time). Combos are nice because even if you layer two sections together in your DAW, it still won’t sound the same as if those instruments are actually playing together in the same room, which is what these combos provide.
Metropolis ark 5 is a little bit of everything, but still recorded in sections, and offering more playable/expressive patches, like playable runs and long swells, along with some instrument combos again, and more dynamic layers instead of JUST loud like ark 1 (though it has a similar sound and instrument selection as Ark 1.
Ark 0 is the entire orchestra recorded at once (tutti), while the other arks offer instrument sections, they didn’t actually sample the entire orchestra at once in the same room. Ark 0 is a lot easier to load up and start writing, and it has triad chords which again were recorded by the players in real time along with the swells, giving you a much more realistic and expressive performance. It’s just the orchestra and doesn’t have percussion or any of their extras from the previous arks like choirs, harp, etc. It’s more basic and focuses on quick writing and sketching, and sacrifices the detail of individual sections for a more broad and inspiring approach.

Coz they release a 150€ cheap libary for fast scetches and demos with an 75€ intro and free for ark 1'5 user??? Or did i miss something??
