I bought one for my little shop and brought the old KMC pedestal fan inside for an easier air conditioned life. I am very well pleased with this fan so far, and I expect it'll still be running 20 years from now. I had been looking for a good replacement for the KMC, and happened upon your video.
Looks like an industrial pedestal fan. I’m starting to like oscillating pedestal fans that are metal construction and I also like the retro look to them. NICE!!
You have exactly the same fan as mine. It is well built, but today I got one problem with this fan. On 1:20 there is a knob for tilt adjustment which is used to lock a certain tilt. However, the treads of the nut which is embedded in the fan column are worn out so that the bolt of the knob is turning freely forever. I cannot fix a tilt.
I have bought and returned this fan four times. The first one burned up after three months. They exchanged it for another that burnt up after one year. The replaced it with another that lasted one year. I just replaced it again...this one does not have a fuse in the plug. Great fan when it works 🙁
Is there supposed to be two holes on both sides of the upper pole? I have two holes on one side but only one hole on the other. The bolt fits through but i dont know whether the tilt adjustment screw or tilt adjustment knob is supposed to have a hole in the upper pole
@@FansandCars The grills don’t look bent. After starting at the top and working your way down locking the tabs, it’s off by 1/4” where the small screw hole is.
I tried holding it as still as I could, but I get the shakes all the time because of hypoglycemia. I really should use a tripod, but I like to get up in close to the fan.

Bought this same fan the other day. AC is out so this fan is a savior. I put it in front of a window ac unit and it's a great combo

The motors do not seem to last on these. I have had better luck with the Better Homes and Gardens version from Walmart.

Wow that’s loud. Glad I saw this before I purchased.
If you want white noise, this fan is great. If you prefer a quieter fan, try a Honeywell QuietSet or lasko tower fan.

Front grill didn’t line up with back grill. No damage on box.
Maybe a manufacturing defect? Is it bent in any way or just plain manufactured incorrectly?

Dang maybe at the factory they drilled the hole in the wrong place
