I guess it all depends on what you call primitive. Colorado has pretty tight restrictions on legal rifles for muzzleloader seasons. No scopes, sabots, or even pellets I believe.
Why knock on what muzzleloader a person uses? It's a one shot rifle just like any muzzleloader!
@@jimd3323 not really your using scope. This muzzle loader is hardly primitive. Be nice to be out hunting with flintlock with other like minded. Lets face it these new muzzle loaders are modern day rifle thats loaded from muzzle.
@@Peter-od7op It's still a muzzleloader! They are very accurate and every hunter strives to make a good clean kill and the newer inlines allow you to do just that! I started with a sidelock muzzleloader and a patched round ball and harvested quite a few deer with em. The inlines are more accurate and I can shoot twice as far as the old sidelock muzzleloader that I used!
This sounds like a safety video instead of a bullet review. You waste too much time tell people what they already know about safety. Just get to the point of the bullet review.
Try using real bp, it will be cleaner than that fake crap ! Also it doesn’t kick as much !
Blackhorn 209 is the cleanest powder on the market!
@@jimd3323 yep, and if the Real BP kicks less, it's because it's providing less velocity.
@@funkla65 I believe that it is less velocity but I'm not positive about that. I've been using 90grn of Blackhorn and a 240grn hornady xtp and it's very accurate out to 100yds! I haven't had a chance to shoot any farther than that yet. I shoot a Accura V2 lr with a Leupold VX Freedom muzzleloader scope.
I am new to muzzle-loading and really enjoy watching your videos. I have some questions I would like to ask you but when I use your website to contact you it goes thru Outlook as a default and my message/question doesn't seem to go go thru, Can you please answer this with your direct email address so I can try to ask you my questions. Thanks
