Ordered two new Experts with bigger gauges. Praying 🙏 they will update gauges to what the masses been asking for. Similar too Polaris buddy tracking, with topo mapping As good as Garmin’s mapping. 🤞. Be our voice! Lol.
Really would be nice if you could get all the companies with newer gauges to work together to be able to track everyone in your group no matter what they ride.
Or just buy a Trailtech Voyager Pro and put it on your Skidoo. They're the ones that did the buddy tracking for Polaris anyway, so their standalone device works with the Polaris gauges. Custom maps, plus whatever data you want to add to them (like route planning, etc) Best of both worlds. It would be nice if BRP decided to use the same system but I doubt that'll happen.
Which sled is the easiest to side hill with? Does the wider ski stance make the freeride harder stay on your line? Which sled requires less rider movements to get the sled to go where you want? Thanks
After riding all the 2023 Ski-Doo Mountain Sleds and the 2024 Ski-Doo Mountain Sleds, the easiest to ride is the Ski-Doo Summit X Turbo in 154 or 165 the Freeride with the wider front end 36 inch but 15 inch rear track and the Summit Expert with 34 front end and 16 inch without t-motion are very similar.
You don’t need that new gauge just get trail tech voyager gps then you can see all your buddies and it’s compatible with the new Polaris gauge , check it out
I’m sure the new gauge will be nice but stupid thing is it’s not available now sold out in 4 hours I snow checked new freeride and wasn’t available pretty shitty
Appreciate these videos Dave. I know it's tough but with sleds selling out in days (even hours) it would be beneficial to have all these videos prior to snowcheck to help make a better more educated decision. I felt and I'm sure others felt very rushed to get our orders in without having all the info in front of us. I know dealers were taking deposits before snowcheck even opened. If this trend continues it would be nice to have snowcheck pushed off for a few weeks till all the info is available.
The 175 is an amazing machine, I went down to to a 165 turbo due to the 175 only being offered in the expert, but its a weapon on super deep days and for sled skiing. And still works amazing in any conditions. Really depends where you ride and snow conditions. cheers

I had the Freeride ordered but after learning about the exclusive Expert features I switched my order to the Expert.

I ordered a '23 165 Turbo expert. Just wondering if my Fox Float QS3 shocks from my '21 expert will fit? My dealer doesn't seem to know.
fronts will rears will not
The engineer said it still had the belt temp sensor, was now behind the secondary.
I heard the same thing???
The gauge even showed CVT temp on it
you are right it does

Well done.
Hey Dave do you know if they will have a program for them before they ship to track your buddies
Pretty sure it has belt temp sensor but it 's fixed to the inside back plate
It does
Can you comment on the differences you feel between the 22 turbo vs the 23 turbo R
