- Deborah Harry interviewed in New York early 1980 by U.S. broadcasting legend Casey Kasem, at the height of Blondie's commercial success. With Heart Of Glass set to top charts worldwide, Debbie discusses her collaborating with Giorgio Moroder and a desire for more movie parts in the future.
Always loved Debbie, great to stumble upon this.
Thanks for sharing!
She has the cutest smile
Always so deliciously awkward. Love it.
Always good to catch Debbie back then, thanks for that.
She never tried to be anyone but herself.
Thank you for this post! I have never seen this clip of Debbie Harry being interviewed by Casey Kasem before, I really enjoyed it.
Casey isn’t even asking Debbie , the two clips have been put together 😮
Appreciate the video.. Thank you.
Awesome. Thanks for sharing.
"He's my boyfriend" LOL she's so offing cute!
I believe all music is an inner subconscious expression of oneself
I feel like I owe it to someone 🌺
Most often yes it is.
Blown away by Casey's bouffant hair style! Never seen it that big. :) His questions are very stilted yet Debbie, looking at beautiful as ever, answers them politely and honestly. The last question about Chris. Come on Casey. A tad personal or what. Debbie simply saying No was hilarious.
0:02 I adore Debbie Harry but that hand waving was... 😅
Yet the “Blondie group” are not on Call Me, that was Giorgio’s musicians.
Blonde is. Beautiful
Deborah, I lolled
I came here for Debby Harry but stayed for Casey Kasem's sweet voice.
Blink eye of gold
sometimes she looked so tired beautiful yes i dont know. am i the only one who thinks that. but what a great singer love the music etc.
She was a heroin addict
Maybe she sleep late the night before and had to get up early for this interview . That would do it
Debs gorgeous mouth has a life all of its own
Creepy
Great 👍 no need to discuss personal relationship, it's such a move of its time 😂
