Absolutely love this review thank you!! I am loving mixsoon and am now going to proceed to checkout on the products I have wanted to purchase! Just a little tip from a horticulturist - Heartleaf used in K-Beauty is not the same as the heartleaf house plant. The heartleaf used in the products is Houttuynia cordata, whereas the house plant everyone knows as Heartleaf is a different plant called Philodendron cordatum. xx
I’ve really enjoyed Mixsoon’s Master Deep Barrier Mask sheet mask (my favorite sheet mask that I’ve ever tried up till now). I’ve also tried their centella toner and essence which were ok, though I only use them when my skin refuses to handle anything else. I have also been interested in trying their Master Serum and their Master Gentle Recipe Foam Cleanser. HOWEVER price wise I would not call them the ordinary of Korea. I think that title should belong to the brand Cos De BAHA.
I am just in love with glycerin for my skin. Im an Esthetician as well and i had an older woman who's skin was flawless and she tild me she used to put pure glycerin on her skin. Super interested in trying some of these!

I love Mixsoon bean essence (when used properly, with the pads for good exfoliating), and the foaming face wash is decent!
I'll stick with them...
but, my 43 yr old skin, also loves a deep moisturizer, sunscreen, and an acid 🎉 I'm almost pore, and wrinkle free!

I've tried the bean essence (which I love) and the mixsoon suncreen (which I find OK). The suncreen is kinda sticky? It doesn't fully dry down on my skin.

Where did you get those pads that you soak in essence? I haven’t yet found a brand that isn’t scratchy or prone to leaving lint behind.
Mary & May! That's a brand I am curious about. I have used their Berry Wash Off Mask a couple of times, it is a standard mask but I want to know about their other products.
I got a foaming face cleanser sample from them in a stylvanna order and it was incredible. It foams but the bubbles feel like silk
Their bulk sheet masks are made with a great material! So soft and smooth. I just got them so can't speak to quality or efficacy yet.

I did the same thing! I bought $250 worth of products from Stylevana and YesStyle to try everything that's hyped. I put so many things on my face for a couple of days and I got a horrible huge pimple for the first time in decades!
Btw, the study you showed about probiotics refers to live probiotics. All these products don't contain any live probiotics.

No, it's actually the extract of the plant called "houttuynia cordata", which also has heart shaped leaves like many other plants. So, pls don't put cut philodendron leaves on your face people 😄I imagine that might be irritating, since it's toxic (for animals).

how is 100% of an extract in a product possible? I hesitated in the past to purchase mixsoon products because there are NO preservatives listed on the ingredient lists. Why are they not mentioned, or are there really no preservatives?
Supposedly they do not have to fully label everything in the formulation when they sell to U.S.A. I read that somewhere. I'm not sure if it's true. It's made me timid to purchase as well!!
The Korean labeling laws are different. It's absolutely possible to have 100% of an extract as an extract is a solution - this could potentially include water, glycerin, and yes preservatives. I've had no issues with my mixsoon products, but I do stay away from western "clean beauty" brands they play on the public's fear of preservatives

Eh, I've seen some mixed comments about that snail harming topic. Let's just say that there is a possibility that snails are being harmed in snail mucin production.
I am confused too.
The snails can’t be overly stressed or they won’t produce the type of slime they want. So, for capitalism reasons, it benefits them to ensure the snails are at least somewhat happy
@@jklroxmysox111 Do you have legit sources for that though? When I tried to look for proof all I found is that it applies only to certain strains of snails which are as a result not used it cosmetics and food. And all the snail mucin extraction techniques I found were basically dousing them in acid and similar stuff.
It's an EXTREMELY secretive process and so we aren't completely sure what's happening behind the scenes to the snails... it's a bit concerning how mysterious these farms are keeping themselves

It may seem similar but it is better not just because of good combination of actives plus the formulations too
The ordinary products are hard to layer first because if the formulation isn't good and second because of only one active in them
