She was wearing a large black blazer costume on that performance because at that time her native land (born) in Sarawak, Malaysia having a State Funeral and mourned for 7 days upon the leader's death. So, she remake that music like half mast tune. I'm also from Sarawak and I feel like, this is too emotional. :'(

For this performance, she did a tribute for her former state chief minister, who passed away two months before this competition. This song tell a story about love from the greatest man. And that is what people get from the late chief minister. And during this competition, she won The Best Vocal Performance and The Best Song. She finally recognised as a music icon after struggle almost 13 years in music industry.
What a beautiful face she has, love these girls and they used to have the music in their body with amazing voice too, so sorry that this country don’t take care of these singers here in Sweden at “Idol competition “ but I love them......❤️❤️❤️🇸🇪

"lelaki teragung" means greatest man... The composer dedicated the song for his late father... And Dayang did justice to the song...
Btw it's a award competition show called "anugerah juara lagu" which means song champion award... Which will be held annually...
Where every year, 12 malaysian best songs will be selected by a group of panel judge..
This song was chosen to the best song in 2017...
Dayang also competing in the same upcoming event very soon with different song
Anugerah Juara Lagu if properly translated into English - Song of The Year Award. And, Lelaki Teragung wasnt crowned as Best Song for 2017, but for 2016 (the qualification period). Every year the competition will be held in Dec/Jan/Feb after they close the nomination and announce the finalist during semi finals.
Lelaki means Lalaki (Man) in Tagalog.

listen to her other song di pintu syurga ajl 29 if im not mistaken. lelaki teragung like literally mean the greatest man in the world. its a appreciation to this one man in your life that just accept all your shitty behavior as you are cause of his love to you. the girl actually hurt him really bad and the girl is trying really hard to do it all over again. its a basically grovelling and begging song. kinda. the words used in it is very beautiful and poetic. it can be dedicated to your spouse or your father or anyone. a man who hold you when you're falling down.
