    I pay 35k baht which is same 1000$ USD per month for 4 bedroom with swimming pool and only 10 min walk from the beach as well. best is to choose a house a little away from tourist area and you’ll get a great deal on a house rent.

      That’s a fantastic deal-4 bedrooms with a swimming pool and so close to the beach for 35k baht is hard to beat! 😊 You’re absolutely right that moving just a little away from tourist hotspots can drastically lower rent while still offering amazing features.

    Very nice house for a family or roommates. What continues to astound me is, even large Thai houses do not have any bathtubs! I would think the master would have a tub and shower. No barking dogs running down the street either. Security entrance too.

    • @perfecthomeschiangmai
      @perfecthomeschiangmai  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great observation! It’s true that bathtubs aren’t very common in Thai houses, even in larger ones-it’s a bit of a cultural difference. That said, the other features, like the security entrance and peaceful surroundings, really make this one stand out. Do you think adding a bathtub in the master would make this property perfect, or is it already checking most of the boxes for you?

    • @blureader1164

      @@perfecthomeschiangmai It depends on the renter. If this were a Japanese expat neighborhood, the bathtub would be a great feature. Most Americans are fine with showers because in Thailand most people shower more than once day.

    Here in the United States we used to use the term rubbish from the 1930s to the 11950s. In the United States we rarely use the front door we usually used the side more often the back door. You should mention more about how far the medical services are for retired or elderly people. ✌️❤️🙏🙏🙏

      @perfecthomeschiangmai  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for sharing! 😊 It’s fascinating how terms and habits like “rubbish” or door usage vary across countries and time periods. Your point about medical services is an excellent one-proximity to quality healthcare is especially important for retirees and elderly individuals.
      In Chiang Mai, one of the major benefits is the accessibility of world-class medical services at affordable prices. For example:
      - **Chiang Mai Ram Hospital** and **Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai** are highly regarded and centrally located.
      - Many condos are within 10-20 minutes of these facilities, depending on the area.
      - There are also clinics and smaller hospitals for routine care throughout the city.
      We’ll make an effort to highlight these details more in future videos. Thank you for the suggestion! Are you exploring retirement options in Chiang Mai, or just curious about the lifestyle? 😊

Countries like Laos, Cambodia, and parts of Eastern Europe or South America can offer a much lower cost of living. That said, Thailand’s appeal often lies in its balance between affordability and quality of life, with excellent infrastructure, safety, healthcare, and modern conveniences-factors that might justify the slightly higher costs.
