Just tried the settings out bro and you’re definitely right on the money . The screen looks WAYYY better than before gives me more of that QLED tv color that I’m used to and also much smoother
Thanks for the configuration, the only thing that changed was the colors, I left red, green and blue at 50 and the black equalizer at 10, for me it looks better that way.
What speakers are those? And how are they hooked up? I’ve had this monitor forever and I’ve used a headset the whole time. But was gonna buy some speakers, but realized the damn series x doesn’t have a optical port anymore lol
Why you turn the Ycc422 on? Xbox can handle 4:4:4 with the orginal color on 10bits 4k 120hz with no compressing, it has enough bandwidth with hdmi2.1 correct me if im wrong.. and by far this monitor is a 8 bit panel so leave it on 8bit 4k 120hz for no compressing 4:4:4 is the way to go..
Do you know why I can’t use feee sync premium pro? And only free sync. I’ve done the latest updates and everything, I’ve been told it’s because I don’t have a 2.1 hdmi cord. Can you confirm what the issue is?

All depends on your eye for detail size and budget going by UK prices the G72A is only £500 WOW then JUST slightly behind plus the dead pixel rumours is the Gigabyte M28U or M32U if you want a 32 inch gaming monitor? TOO BIG, your neck man lol but the winner on specs JUST is the LG GP950B it's at anywhere from £600 to £800 but your average gamer is going to be HYPED with ANY of those beauts!! I've done thorough research and unless it's for PC there's no point dropping £13000 on the new Samsung G8 as the G7 ALREADY has the Xbox and PS5 maxed... G7 like 400 nits black LG600 nits black and on paper is slightly higher specs than the Odyssey but you just have to be mad ignoring the £100 plus difference in price IN FAVOUR of the Samsung, you just have to? @@TheRenatoAvalos i’ve tested this and it doesn’t affect gaming, still get 4k 120hz. You can actually see how many Hz you’re getting by going to Support > Information on the Monitor’s menu during gameplay
So question…. I’m buying this monitor tomorrow and wanted to know how to play Halo infinite at 1440p@120hz. I’m assuming that’s plausible. Halo in my main game and I’ve never played at 120hz for any FPS. Would you keep the 4K settings on the Xbox and 120hz to do so or would it automatically switch over to 1440@120hz on Halo without having to go into the settings. I know halo is 4K@60hz and 1440@120hz
No need to change any settings. The nice part about having this monitor is that the Xbox will automatically downscale the game to 1440p if needed for 120hz output.

I’m pretty satisfied with it. Incredibly bright and smooth 4k 120hz gameplay, it will make your performance in FPS games better. I will admit though, the Core Lighting is a gimmick, and HDR just isn’t worth it for competitive gaming

Low input lag isn't working correcty with vrr on. when vrr is off it's kick inn directly and you feel the speed when you're moving fas. And i recommend the standard response time this is beceause the xbox can't do faster. Definition vrr is for screen tearing and correctly your data transfer from your console to your screen. Low input lag is screen speed what's showing in this case this is a 1ms screen. Response time is definitely pixel speed. Quick question, why did you set the Xbox to 10 bits per pixel if the monitor is an 8 Bit panel?
It’s more for watching TV/Movies. The monitor allows 4K 10-bit at 60Hz from the Xbox, and most TV/Apps display that way

You actually have to turn Freesync on from the monitor first, then it won’t be greyed out on the Xbox. That’s my bad
