    Imagine how much better the Japanese would have been if they had bothered to produce more SMG's. Their infiltration tactics would have had much more success with some more firepower in the hands of the average grunt.
    Also not being so steadfastly committed to the whole Decisive battle doctrine wouldve helped as well. Part of the reason the American submarine fleet had so much success was that the Japanese Navy was hardly protecting their merchant navy.
    That and the Japanese thought westerners were pussies. Should have waited 80 years. Or opened the country up a few decades earlier. Imagine if Japan had started colonizing earlier.

      It doesn't matter what side they were in the war, you must respect and consider their military virtues. Its like saying that Erwin Rommel was a pretty skilled commander, i'm not nazi by admiring his skills. And, yes, we find it cool. Even if you don't agree with an enemy, you must recognize and respect its virtues, because, this is part of war. You can only overcome him after recognizing that it is good in those spots

      Imagine saying that there's nothing to see that's worthy of praise in an adversary that, after being surrounded, starved and down to literally the last individual rounds (as was the case historically in the Banzai Charge on Saipan), chooses to fire them off and then return to the cold steel and charge their opponent head-on.
      That is bravery.
      There's a reason Indian (Native American) warriors were called "braves" by the original colonists. They dared to fight, against almost impossible odds. That is bravery.

    • @azarath20000
      @azarath20000 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@frododiddledeebipedybopedy9840 First, why are they fighting? what could the soliders possibly gain from sacrificing their lives for the empire, they are not defending, they are invading, they are pirates, raiders and worst of all, they commited some of the worst war crimes. The wars doesn't need to happen, Japan will not die because they weren't being bloodthirsty and a rapist of other countries. They waged the wars for their own petty ambition, which is normal for countries to do throughout the history. But there is nothing to be praised off that, there is bravery but based on malevolent intent. Just because something is brave doesn't mean that something is worth praise of. And there is absolutely nothing to praised off wars, except for the defenders or situation where the country is fighting another that is almost objectively evil like WWII germany. Whats more is we are talking about a country that commited warcrimes worse than WWII germany and got away with it. To this day, they have divine shrines supported by the government and the japanese emperors that worships these war criminals. Like shut the fuck up, bro.
      And what is this talk about Native Americans being brave, I wasn't talking about that, and why the fuck are you refering to them as Indians, thats not their fucking name. They are not from India, the white people call them that because they are ignorant and it seems like you are too about literally everything you were talking about. The two are literally the exact opposite matter, the Indians were trying to protect their land, at first. Meanwhile japan just want to fullfill their shitty ambition based off the sufferings of millions and billions of east asia and south asia. And if they did fight continously, the indigenous residential school wouldn't have happened, truth is they spent too long in civil wars. And if you are not talking about the more northen Indigenous groups then fucking specify, wait YOU CAN'T. Because you clearly don't know what the fuck you are talking about, way I see is almost this entire comment section need to relearn about World War Two. And yall still have the audacity to lecture me? Next time, actually do this thing called thinking before you act so you don't act like a damn fool.
      🤣
