- I wanted to get back to my roots and visit the beautiful Duck Mountain Park, and I thought why not go hammer on some Smallies and Walleye!! Most people don't think of the ducks and Walleye fishing it's usually the stocked trout people go after, but I must say there is some UNREAL Walleye fishing in the ducks!! Can't wait to go back!

Hey Clayton! Love the video, I’m out on leech lake MN for the week. Have been having a real rough time, I don’t consider myself much of a walleye fisherman. And my boat is boat glasstron speed boat, not outfitted with any electronics or anything for fishing. Possibly any tips for methods or areas to focus on for the time of year you could send in my direction?

Bedding down smallies will aggressively hammer anything you throw their way. We have a lot of smallies in the St.Lawrence River. Try dropping a pumpkin seed tube or any goby replica and it's an all day slam fest!
