i'm a drummer and i can say that eloy is 10x better than joey, he was fast but that was about it, eloy actually knows how to play other genres like samba and brazilian music with odd time signatures that require way more control.
Joey was an incredible drummer, if it wasn't for him Slipknot would be what they are. Eloy is excellent though, so it will be exciting to hear what new flavors he brings in
