They are genuinely excellent pieces of kit for SOOO little. With a change to an M4 type pistol grip (to drop a long shaft motor in) it is outstanding with no effort! Glad you like it! Pheas
Mate (A) it was way lower than 14 at 11.7ish,,and (B) nope these aren't what he's using as base rifs for builds..saying that is is like comparing a Cyma platinum to one of their £50 plastic ones

Hey Pheas, nice unboxing as usual. I've got a DBell full metal M4 as a back up of the backup, and I'm actually impressed with the out-of-the-box performance for something so cheap. The only thing I'd change on it is the handguard. Cheers,

This seems to be the improved version of the old DBoys BY 808. I have mine for about 6 years now but it broke down (I will try to fix it). The rubber on the folding stock came lose and I lost it. It was nowhere to be found as a replacement part so I glued an MP5 buttplate on it. Worked, still folds.
Double Bell make dirt cheap AKs I’m sorely tempted in for Goldeneye reasons, namely an AKS-74U and AKS-74. Similar price to these PDWs so might be worth a punt.
As of all Double bell guns. It was shimmed with grease by an underpaid worker. Its a good gun to lend to people who want to try airsofting. Just a reshim and clean the gearbox, regrease and good to go.
The full metal variant of this one is really really good. The gearbox internals are meh but it's excellent for upgrading. I put a kythera, retro arms hopup, pdi barrel and modify flat hop rubber in mine and its my best airsoft toy I have. Super reliable and precise.
Haha, I need a medium shaft motor to sort out a JG SG552 that has a dud one. Instead of spending £40 on the motor alone, I might well buy this and transplant it across, and then use an old M4 + motor to get this running as a super-lightweight backup gun! Cool :)

Hey pheas! I just saw this come up on evike and it sure looks tempting for $75. I did won’t to upgrade this externally and see if I could add a buffer tube and an m lok rail on it. Would that be possible? Thanks
Hiya! The mlok rail unit wouldn't be as the current front end is integrated into the body, but you possibly could mound an mlok rail on there if you spend some time positioning it. From what I remember from the disassembly (also on my channel) I don't think the back end is right for a stock I think you are stuck with the folding one included. Pheas

Hello! The battery you choose needs to go into the battery box that is in the box. That box screws onto the rail on the side and then connect the wire from the battery to the white connector (mini tamiya) coming out of the side of the rail unit at the front l. Pheas
@@LepercTikTok Obviously this is a good place to start, just about any of the recent double bell stuff is excellent for the money. Any thing from Double Eagle is also excellent at the moment, get alot for your money. Alternatively the basic models from Specna are also very affordable and very very good. Pheas
@@PheasAirsoft Thanks mate, I'd go for an M4 grip and standard long shaft. The WE short was my first ever rifle many years ago, I intend getting the 10" barrel and add a bit more length to the inner. Lovely little gun, may as well have the AEG as well! You can't have too many!!!

This is genuinely impressive for so little money. I have a DBell P90 that costs twice as much and this PDW keeps my P90 humble.

ICS makes a nice flush battery box. I put them on a lot of my front wired Replicas instead of taking the front grip apart.

I put a polarstar fusion in this with maxx hop and a nice tightbore along with my own peq battery box

That's a great idea! At least with this it's easy to throw an AR pistol grip on to be able to use a long shaft! Pheas
There are PEQ boxes that fit 11V LiPos comfortably. Are you limited to the original PEQ box?

What kind of mags can you use for this one ? Do you have a link for midcap mags ?
Hello! It will accept typical airsoft AR / M4 type mags, or you can use the KAC PDW style mags, i havent seen the mid caps in stock anywhere. Pheas
None of my other m4 mags fit. It's REALLY tight

Anyone know if this has a standard size V2 gearbox, I seem to remeber being told they were smaller.
It is a standard V2 gearbox. Just the motor that is smaller. It's a medium shaft instead of long or short. Phess
