Great video. I have been living in my Prius for the last seven years. “For the people who it’s for, it’s definitely for” applies to me. But every once in a while, I like to treat myself to a nice hotel for a few days or even a few weeks at a time. Just to change things up a little.
In my experience, in regards to bathrooms, I have found that Lowes and Home Depot are a much better option for me over places like Walmarts, Targets or Grocery Stores. I think this is because in the retail and grocery stores, there are a lot more families shopping together and kids have to use the bathroom a lot so I find them much busier. But, it seems like the hardware stores is usually just people running in for supplies or workers getting materials and tend to not use the bathroom as much.
I’ve had an office job for decades & I live vicariously through you as the freedom you have & the ability to do what you like when you want sounds & seems amazing!
We moved around a lot when I was a kid, so I have never felt at home anywhere. I have nomad fever to always want to get on the road. I don’t think it’s ever gonna happen as I am a caregiver, but I love watching you and living vicariously through you. Take care my dear, prayers for your health. Be safe!
Hi babe. 🥰 I wonder if your "nomad fever" would be filled if you did some more day/weekend trips (if that's possible with your lifestyle)?? I'm going to start posting about that more on my channel to help people who WANT to travel, but have real reasons that they can't right now. There are still so many ways to travel and adventure in your own state/area!
As a fellow vandweller, this is a great video! Love it. I get judged all the time but I have learned that this lifestyle is benefiting me. So I'm no longer bothered by the stares and comments of others. I'm all about saving money! So saving $12,000 a year rather than paying for a lease is so...so worth it!
You’re a talented woman with a definite talent for this type of media... easy to listen to. It seems to be so natural. I watch to make sure that you’re okay and to watch someone who’s a natural at this. Whatever you do, living in your car, spending time with friends, is your business. Just keep sharing because you’re better at this than most!!
WOW, thank you SO much for the kind words. That means so much to me. I am so grateful that I can share my life online, and continuously hope that I can help others through my videos. ❤️
I always enjoy your Q & A. It really helps those of us that have never lived on the road, to better understand what it's like. I happen to think you are amazing. I've watched you for a few years now, tho I don't always comment up always give you big thumbs up. I was subbed to your dad, as well & have enjoyed his music, but I haven't seen a notification for him in a while. Anyway, prayers for you with your health issues.. Keep the faith, girlfriend. Hope you are still enjoying you crocheting. Peace & love
I love this video, Katie! I have followed your car life wisdom for the past 5 years. I'm still working on getting the right vehicle, but I love your videos and your candid manner of presentation. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with us! Best wishes for 2022 and continued prayers for your health.
New video from you, yeah! Yes, it’s funny what people assume of us, living in our cars and being individuals. But perfect what you said about being bored: I also love to be creative and it also helps me not to think about being with someone which often isn’t possible. Wish you a wonderful day 🍀❤️
Great video Katie, you have a wonderful personality and I really enjoyed your answers to all those assumptions. I agree, carlife / carcamping is not for everyone, but that's the beauty of life, we are all different and like different things ✌
Holy cow, YES 😆 Rain on the roof sounds like pots and pans! I love it! And even more when the wind rocks the car! Haha! If it was a ride in an amusement park, people would pay good money for it 😉
Loved the video and hearing about your experiences. Thunder and lightning could be a little scary in a car, but I love the sound of rain on the car, it's loud but kind of comforting :) bless you Katie!
honestly, especially in winter, even living indoors, I don't shower every single day. I wash the,,, important things. I went on holidays sleeping in the car, and hygiene was never a problem
A person can feel unsafe in their house or apartment too but, you can't pick up and just leave the area like you can in a car. In all the years that I have been watching you and others that either live/travel in their cars or RVs, I can't think of anyone that has been taken to jail or written a ticket for any overnight parking. They may be asked to move along and, smart people do. Your lifestyle demands a lot of flexibility and critical thinking. If someone doesn't have that, they are surely going to struggle.
Some people have really weird thoughts about car life 😂 I know that people don’t think about people individually, but tend to categorize a lot. But at least TH-cam videos make it easier for people to see that there are thousands of ways to live in a car 🚗 I wish you a wonderful day 🍀❤️
I never can figure out if being a nomad is simply who you are or if you're searching for or running from something. No disrespect meant and I mean searching/running on an emotional level, not criminal or anything bad. My own father was a very unsettled person, he was in the military and until he retired 2 years was the longest he/we were ever in one house. We moved constantly, not for lack of income but because dad seemed unable to or afraid to become rooted anywhere. He had to go out daily after he retired, couldn't stand to stay home all day, if he had to he slept. He'd become irritable and anxious if trapped at home by snow or dangerous weather and his mood would be awful, we'd all walk on eggshells on those days. If he'd been single I could envision him traveling non stop. I could never get him to explain his need to always be on the move, he didn't view it as odd at all. There was always a rush for us to get somewhere and also a rush to leave. If you could verbalize your take on your need to be so nomadic it might help me to understand my father in a way I never could while he was alive. I'm very much a homebody, I'm not socisl, I love to be alone, I hate moving and traveling is stressful for me. I think my lack of need to be social is due to all the years of moving, getting close to people then moving, losing them became hurtful. In pre Internet pricey long distance calling days it was easy to lose touch. By middle school I had zero desire for friends. My sister is the opposite, she immediately latches onto anyone that pays attention to her, they become her bff in like a week, but she goes through bffs like wildfire. We're both socially damaged from our upbringing. There are positives, we know how to act to fit in if we choose to do so, we're great at acting, but we both have huge walls, layers of defenses. I hope if you ever decide to parent children you'll settle down, for their sake.
First of all, thank you so much for sharing this with me. Second, you are very clearly an intelligent and self-aware person. I am going to have to think about this, and possibly even answer it in a video. But sometimes we do things for reasons we don't even know. And sometimes we live a life different than the "norm," but it doesn't mean it's wrong. And sometimes we don't know what is going to affect us or others until afterwards (sometimes because we don't even consider it beforehand). So maybe your dad really did like the adventure and a constant change of scenery. Or maybe he didn't feel safe within himself and so moving around helped calm that fear. Or maybe he just got used to that lifestyle in his early military days or from some of his military friends. For me personally - I do have to think more about it because I have become more aware of things over the years - but I think it's a mix of 1) I believe God led me to traveling and it's part of the journey He has me on 2) my house burned down as a child, so feeling stable or safe has been an issue for me 3) I love seeing new places and cultures within my own country, and sleeping in my car does give me a level of freedom that I appreciate, and has taught me so many things that I wouldn't have learned otherwise. But, how we grow up can affect us so much...and it can affect us even more if we "blame" it and don't work on ourselves to help with the negatives. I think it's incredible that you know WHY you do certain things and think certain ways, and I hope that some of that clarity can result in some more peace for you. ❤️

I've watched Along Came Polly way too many times. When you answered the living in your car question about it being dangerous I totally thought of Ruebens job of risk assessment.😁😁😁😁
Girl rain while living in a car!!! I get so claustrophobic. But it's great in every other aspect, as you said. Thank you for sharing your experience and subverting expectations with your beautiful, bright energy
Hello Katie! Hope your well. As for me, I adore rain, storms, they knock me out, litterally. Lol I have heard of sound dampening mats u can purchase for your vehicle. U probably already know, but in case u dont...u might want to look into it. God bless u and everyone!
I'm sitting here waiting for my buddy to come out, so I'm watching the video of you talking in your Yaris while sitting in my Yaris. 😏😁 I took a road trip to Florida from Pittsburgh PA a few years back and drove straight through. I pulled over and slept in the car for a few hours at rest stops on the way. I wouldn't be able to sleep in my car seat every night, but a small van would definitely be doable. That way I would have some room to stretch out flat. As soon as I get a van, definitely hitting the road. 👌🚐
Katie - I've been watching your videos for a couple of years now. I love this video I can't travel far because I have 4 kitties to take care of. One is sick with onset of pancreatitis but you wouldn't know it with her. She can still jump like the best of them and eat too. You're a sweet girl . One day ill take a day trip somewhere here that I never been to. There are a couple I want to see. I'm an amateur photographer , I would take pictures of things that would catch my eye. I love your tips for traveling. You take care . Blessed be . ❤
I can understand you a lot about u living out of ur car car one of my sons lives out of his truck. We live in Hawaii on the Big Island of Hawaii. Its the largest of the islands n we live on the eastern side of the island n he lives on the west side n it's a 2 hour drive to go from one side to the other. Good luck.
Being alone all the time is the only thing I don't like. 1. Storms don't bother me....lol. I find the rain hitting the roof soothing/relaxing. 2. Any place that has a "time limit" on parking has never been a problem staying longer.
If I worked and lived in my car I could do it but not if I didn't work. I would lose my mind living in a car by myself without keeping busy working. Idk how she does it.
For places that have time limit signs, I’ve never had a problem staying longer either! (One time I parked in a 2-hour parking spot overnight, but didn’t notice until the morning, and no one said anything!) but I still like to respect the property as much as possible.
Your such a sweet and beautiful young lady and I love your channel and the amazing things you do. You have great vibes for everyone. Keep up the great work. You are loved abundantly! God bless your heart.
I bought a Toyota Highlander. If you ever size up, I highly recommend. I dont live in my car, but I would imagine that it would be pretty amazing for doing that.
I love people just because. I don't care if they have a ton of money or no money. Stuff will never impress me. All that stuff will someday go to mount trashmore and all that is left is me. I don't live my life to impress others and I love out of the box people. People who make there own rules to play the game of life. Yeah, those are my kind of people!
You're beautiful woman I kind woman you care about others you should not worry at all what anybody thinks so what any rumors are your good deeds speak for themselves your integrity holds up with running water very proud of you you've had a lot of things in your life if you ever need a friend in the state of Minnesota Jerry
I’m the type of person that HAS to shower in the morning, so I feel like living in my car would be hard at first but I’m sure it would be okay to adjust. Great video, loved hearing all your answers!
Yea I used to take a shower every morning and night and it took a couple of years to feel okay at times my mental state was ah.. and I just got gym membership and that makes a worked of difference
i really like your video i think your amazing. i thought person like you never existed. i thought somethig was wrong with me but i miss that life for reals. the freedom not tied down and less worries and adventure. i tried the move and live stuck and that scares me staying the rest of your life there
THANK YOU. There is nothing wrong with you for wanting a life that isn't "stereotypical." Everyone is different, and we all need to find the right fit.
... Have been living in my car since the beginning of COVID. I saw that the "shut down" was coming. Threw everything in to storage unit. Now I am stealth living in the car.
You can buy the towelettes at Walmart to bath with if you would like that when you can’t find a shower. I had to buy them for husband last year. That is all hospitals use anymore.
Hello katie. A little note from the netherlands! Good video. Very interresting. Can not imagion living in a car. But you live in such a big country! Love following your video,s. Looking forward to see how you are going to use your new planner. Have one myself for years. With a bit too much stickers 🙂. Much love. Cisca. 💜💛💚🧡
Girl! Yes! I love your way to perfectly articulate all the things car life! I've been doing carlife sine July '21 mostly full time with a week stay here and there at hotels or with my male "friend" lol I've actually been staying with him the last 2 weeks since temps have been below 0 at night and a snowstorm is coming this week😨 I traveled quite a bit until November and then have stayed close to my hometown to spend the holidays with my family, especially my sons and my grands😁 I planned to head for AZ, where my daughter lives, to get out of Ohio for the Winter. My oldest son who's 24, his gf and my 1 year old granddaughter actually just moved back from there in August. They got their own place, fortunately his gf kept her job with a Dr's office and works remotely! My son found a job within walking distance, and good thing! His car broke down 2 weeks ago and they live close to 15 miles from grocery stores, laundromat, Dr's office/hospital; oh did I mention she's pregnant now and due in March!😍 So I was planning on returning to Ohio then but now I don't want to leave them because it would be difficult for them to get around. No rideshare or city bus in such a small town. I have no problem giving them a ride or offering my car when need be. My car is easy livable setup or everyday driver as needed😎 Anyway lol I 1000% feel you on all but 2 little things: I love rain and a thunderstorm in my car! Always have liked the sound of rain and in my car it's even more soothing lol The other is, I'm not a fan of truckstops, I've stayed at a couple Pilots and a Love's but I favor hotel lots and campus or student apartment lots. There's always plenty unoccupied spots out of the way, well lit, they feel safe and I don't feel scrutinized at all because different cars are always coming and going but gets pretty quiet by midnight. New sub btw! Love your content and I'm actually even more intrigued into getting my own channel going! When I hit the road again in the Spring I'm going to go for it! Thank you! Maybe our paths will cross some day! Safe and happy travels!🏕🏖🏜🏞🌈🛣🚗
Hi Katie! I tried looking on your Amazon favorites to see if your earrings were from there, but no such luck. Could you tell me where you got them? They are BEAUTIFUl and would love to see if I could find myself a pair or something similar.
Depending on the places you are a ymca membership is not expensive and it allows you to use about 4 location s they open at 5am so showering and bathroom is there
Katie, I have a couple questions for you...1, have you ever driven to Alaska? Or would u like to? 2, how do you plan your trips? For example, do you say, oh I will only drive this many miles today..3, What kinds of meals do you have on the road? Do you stop once a day and make sure you get at least 1 full meal each day? How do you make sure you stay healthy? LYSM! I have an older car and I am on SSA, and I worry I won't have enough momey to travel with.
Truckers don't wash every day. Not to be gross, but yes, as long as you hit the "hot spots".. wash your feet, brush your teeth, clean your arm pits....especially if you don't have to go into an office every day.....Katie, you are amazing and an inspiration.
I do seasonal camping. Last year I had no running water nor a bathroom in my camper. The campsite had showers and bathrooms. I brushed my teeth twice a day and took showers. Not really much different than living in a vehicle. As long as there are accessible facilities like she said… it’s not a big deal. If she lived in an RV nobody would say boo.
I am definitely one of those people who couldn't live in a car, but I could live in a nicely appointed van if it had running water, toilet and shower along with a kitchen. If I don't have a shower every night I can't sleep and I truly need my own toilet, hate public toilets and if, by chance, I do need to use a public toilet it's only for #1, forget about #2, no way. So yes, I can see living in a van. I would need extra room because I have one dog and one cat and I wouldn't want them not to have some room (kitty litter space). I give you credit for doing what you do. Perhaps if I were younger I would have given it a chance, but at this point in my life, a car would be too small.
Truck stop showers are convenient, sure, but they are actually super expensive! Sometimes up to $12 each! When the gym membership that I have (Planet Fitness, but I can go to any single one in the country) is around $23 for a whole month of unlimited showers. So I think someone should only use a truck stop shower as a last resort.
A lot of people have misinformation about other lifestyles... and so it's common for people to think that living in a car MUST ALWAYS be uncomfortable. But that's not true!
Toilet could be an issue for some, in middle of night needing a wee. I have a solution, some people might not like it. I use a cup for a number 1 and then just pour it out the door 😂 for number 2 I have to find a toilet. But if I am in the middle of nowhere where there are no toilets I leave no trace and make sure I dig a hole or use a dog poo bag 🤢
Peeing in a cup is a lot easier than people might think. 😂 But that's why I always recommend sleeping at a truck stop or rest area, because there are 24/7 public bathrooms.
A zero degree sleeping bag is ideal! Lots of layers, and making sure my head is covered helps me a lot. But I have a whole video about "staying warm in the winter" that you can see my longer answer! :)
Cool videos and lifestyle! So how do you get laid living in your car? Is it harder for you to get laid? That’s my main thing about living out of my car is I don’t think I’ll ever get laid
Hi Katie, great video! I do not do car life/van life, but did sleep in my car once a week for about 1.5 yrs, when my Mom was in a Nursing Home 300 km from me. It became a necessity because I could not afford a Motel room, because that would be an approximate $500. extra per month. I also sleep in my car when I camp. I am glad I live in my house because my cats need space and I have gardens, but.......sometimes I long for the simplicity of less stuff around me. I drove 200 km (one way) to my job for 12 yrs. There were times then too I slept in my car. Hygiene was never an issue because I could shower at work. I do see the positives, but overall I am happy with my house too. I liked the rain! And the snow! No one was walking around the parking lot and my car was a safe cocoon. The rain noise did not bother me. Thunder and lightning, meh, I had 4 rubber tires. Safer than a house with a 220V line coming into the house, or a high arial. If that helps! Take care! Hope you are feeling better! You are looking better.
Have you received any kind of motor vehicle tickets over the years of living in your car? How is your Mom and brother doing with the weather and all, does your Mom have a job outside her home? How is your Dad doing lately?
I have received three speeding tickets (the last of which was about six or seven years ago...I drive much slower now 😂), and a fewwww parking tickets (I can really only think of one, in LA, when I got the flu and forgot to move my car!).
YES I THINK. TRAVELING WITH SOMEONE WOULD BE FUN SEEING NEW PEOPLE THAT WOULD BE FUN. ! BUT NOT IN THE WINTER BUT YOU ARE HAVEING FUN THATS ALL THAT MATTER. !! YES NOT YOUR PEOPLE. IF THEY DONT LIKE YOU IN A CAR ITS YOUR LIFE. !!
I wouldn't live in my car not because I think it's awful, but I shower twice a day and couldn't imagine not having my shower routines! I think that’s my only hang up. My showers are about 30 minutes (minimum) per shower...
i lived in my car for most of 5 years...1991 toy camry. light rain is great makes you fall asleep. i kept a can for emergency bathroom...sometimes at night...thunder really scares the poo out of me...had one guy we me up asked if i wanted a date...one guy wanted a sandwich at 2am and one asked where i was going...had to wake me up to ask me...
@Patricia Rainey Nothing to cover windows....thought that would let people know there was someone living in my car...lol...i also wanted to be able to know who was around my car and know what was going on. parked at walmart until they kicked me out and a parking lot of a travelodge for a while.
Great video. I have been living in my Prius for the last seven years. “For the people who it’s for, it’s definitely for” applies to me. But every once in a while, I like to treat myself to a nice hotel for a few days or even a few weeks at a time. Just to change things up a little.

Thanks for sharing, love! God bless you as well. ❤️
Off topic...I love your glasses!I keep meaning to tell you! Thanks for another insightful video!
Thanks babe! They’re from GlassesUSA and they’re one of the Hilary Duff collabs (I think they’re called the Gloria).
I hope you're feeling better, great video, thanks so much for the tips!
Yay! A new Katie Kar video!!
I love this video
I can't travel far because I have 4 kitties to take care of.
Great concept for a post!
We have the same glasses Katie! I have been following you for years. Ty for all of your videos, vlogs and advice. You're an awesome human being.
GLASSES TWINS! 🎉 And thank YOU for the sweet comment. God bless!
@@katiecarney 🤓 also, I hope that your health progresses upwards. You're so strong
Does anyone know if Katie is still living in her car?
Where can I go to see recent videos, if she's still doing them??
Thanks
Thanks for the feedback on the common assumptions about car life. Safe travels & living!
Your smile and positivity is inspiring.
That is SO sweet, thank you, Diane! ❤️
I love your authenticity & transparency ❤😊❤
You're beautiful woman I kind woman you care about others you should not worry at all what anybody thinks so what any rumors are your good deeds speak for themselves your integrity holds up with running water very proud of you you've had a lot of things in your life if you ever need a friend in the state of Minnesota Jerry
Yay 😀 Katie sounds good
I enjoy your videos so much and your upbeat personality it lifts my spirit eveytime
Thank you, my love! I am so glad that I can spread joy through Jesus. ❤️☺️😍
I love that you're a hand talker. I am too. And I love your nails.
Hand talkers for LIFE. 🙌🏻
Love you!
Hey I hope you feel better 💓
I’m the type of person that HAS to shower in the morning, so I feel like living in my car would be hard at first but I’m sure it would be okay to adjust. Great video, loved hearing all your answers!
Yea I used to take a shower every morning and night and it took a couple of years to feel okay at times my mental state was ah.. and I just got gym membership and that makes a worked of difference

Katie, how are the parents doing in the pandemic. I haven’t heard you speak about the lately hope they are well!
i really like your video i think your amazing. i thought person like you never existed. i thought somethig was wrong with me but i miss that life for reals. the freedom not tied down and less worries and adventure. i tried the move and live stuck and that scares me staying the rest of your life there
Great video and I’m so glad that you shared your life with us. Sending you hugs, prayers love and kindness. ❤️🙏🏼👍🏼🌹
Katie, you should live your life that makes you happy. Happy you are in Long Island & addressing some of you medical problems. I admire you.
Much love. Cisca. 💜💛💚🧡
Great video you are a car living expert! Hope you are feeling better. Take care.
You could also find a parking garage if its storming bad. Since your car is your home youd want to protect it from any hail or tornadoes whatever
Smart! I just wouldn't trust sleeping in most parking garages overnight, but that depends where they are.
Girl!
You are AWESOME! You are living an amazing life! You are very lovely person too!
Thank you, love! ❤️☺️😍
Have you ever thought about living in a tiny home or van? I absolutely respect you living in your car. I wish I could live the minimalist life tbh!
There is actually a Wikipedia page about the Upturned collar with its origins, styles and different trends! Next entry Katie's style!
Enjoyed.
Very well said Katie 👍 your doing fine.
I agree about boredom. There are always things to do. If you can't think of anything at all, do something to bless others! God bless.
That's so true! ❤️
I sleep in my Ford passenger van and when it rains hard it sounds like buckets of pebbles or marbles are being dumped on my roof.
It's insanely loud!
RIGHT?! Okay, I'm glad someone else knows what I'm talking about! But ugh, it's toooooo loud!
Hi Katie! I tried looking on your Amazon favorites to see if your earrings were from there, but no such luck. Could you tell me where you got them? They are BEAUTIFUl and would love to see if I could find myself a pair or something similar.
I’m going to have them linked in Friday’s video!!!
Depending on the places you are a ymca membership is not expensive and it allows you to use about 4 location s they open at 5am so showering and bathroom is there
Buccees for the win for best bathrooms on the road! Too bad they're not in every state.
I'm from Hawaii. I was wondering if you could video truck or rest stops? We don't have any here in Hawaii. I'm very curious. Love your videos 👍
I respect the fact that you live in your car...I wish I had the courage 👏I honestly think you have a free spirit and I ❤️it.👍💪🙏
Katie, I was in a grocery store in California and due to the homeless situation there's a pass code which is needed to use their public restroom.🤔
Certain cities/states make it much harder to live in a car, and southern California is one of them (in my experience).
Truckers don't wash every day. Not to be gross, but yes, as long as you hit the "hot spots".. wash your feet, brush your teeth, clean your arm pits....especially if you don't have to go into an office every day.....Katie, you are amazing and an inspiration.
What kind of job can you have where it’s online and you can still travel and work?
I do seasonal camping. Last year I had no running water nor a bathroom in my camper. The campsite had showers and bathrooms. I brushed my teeth twice a day and took showers. Not really much different than living in a vehicle. As long as there are accessible facilities like she said… it’s not a big deal. If she lived in an RV nobody would say boo.
🙌🏻❤️👍🏻
Come to SoCal let’s go bar hopping 😂🍻
U can go to a “loves” station and shower for a small fee. I travel a lot. I see this a lot. I think it’s convenient
Some ppl do look at me when I say I sometimes live in my car I tell them that I can sleep better when I'm in my car then on a normal bed
A lot of people have misinformation about other lifestyles... and so it's common for people to think that living in a car MUST ALWAYS be uncomfortable. But that's not true!
Katie is super cool, love when your on the road instead of that appt. in Charleston you should bring your girlfriend from SC on trips.
Hope this is not too personal but how do you make an income

@@katiecarney Well done,you
If I have a ymca membership in newyork and your on the road they usually let you as s guest in other states
I have IBS-D I would definitely have to live in a van with a toilet lol
Toilet could be an issue for some, in middle of night needing a wee. I have a solution, some people might not like it. I use a cup for a number 1 and then just pour it out the door 😂 for number 2 I have to find a toilet. But if I am in the middle of nowhere where there are no toilets I leave no trace and make sure I dig a hole or use a dog poo bag 🤢
Peeing in a cup is a lot easier than people might think. 😂 But that's why I always recommend sleeping at a truck stop or rest area, because there are 24/7 public bathrooms.
I’ve watched you years, Love your adventurous spirit! Stay positive, Say hi to Roger and Biscuit 🦕🦬✌🏼
Biscuit and Cornbread? Love cornbread
You are so precious

Question what type of car you drive year and model katie
She has a Toyota Yaris.
@@rheagalarneau1366 thank you do you know what year it is
@@i-Love-CarlyShay she has plenty of videos about it
@@rheagalarneau1366 ok i check it out thanks for the help
It's a 2010 Toyota Yaris that I bought brand new. It now has a little over 250,000 miles on it.
Nice person keep traveling .it's what you like ....
hahaha I loved this!
Have a question? Just curious. Being a camping gal .. How do stay warm at night? I would think you need a good thermal sleeping bag?
A zero degree sleeping bag is ideal! Lots of layers, and making sure my head is covered helps me a lot. But I have a whole video about "staying warm in the winter" that you can see my longer answer! :)
@@katiecarney ❤
You are looking better.
... then you need to get a power station (rock pals or jackery) to power a 12 volt electric blanket, your phone, and a 12 volt ice chest refrigerator.
Great video, you look beautiful
Take care
Thank you, Mary! ❤️
Long time happy new year
Happy New Year! ❤️
I wouldn't live in my car not because I think it's awful, but I shower twice a day and couldn't imagine not having my shower routines! I think that’s my only hang up. My showers are about 30 minutes (minimum) per shower...
You can shower twice a day at the gym... ☺️☺️☺️

i lived in my car for most of 5 years...1991 toy camry. light rain is great makes you fall asleep. i kept a can for emergency bathroom...sometimes at night...thunder really scares the poo out of me...had one guy we me up asked if i wanted a date...one guy wanted a sandwich at 2am and one asked where i was going...had to wake me up to ask me...
@Patricia Rainey Nothing to cover windows....thought that would let people know there was someone living in my car...lol...i also wanted to be able to know who was around my car and know what was going on. parked at walmart until they kicked me out and a parking lot of a travelodge for a while.
