    There should be an amendment requiring Congress women and men to be in their seats five days a week so they can hear what these other amendments are being talked about and informing themselves of what they’re really supposed to be doing

      Most democrats would, and some Republicans would. But others would be against it. The would be claiming that the FBI and CIA have taken over democracy and are targeting you representatives. • @aaronstanley474
      @aaronstanley474 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @Debra VanAusdale I think most would, the problem is there isn’t any streamlined process to do this, it’s really simple the report should show who was attended what their vote was what their voting on in a summary, with a link to the full details, also bills should be made stand alone no amendments no taking on 80 pages of bs that muddies the water on what the original bill was for. It should be I wanna do this, here is the cost. Yay or nay then done and if it was done like that then you could do wonders and a report would be a simple easy to maintain request

It literally is a bill saying what was already being done, which is have a report of the impact of Executive orders on the budget and it’s economic impacts. I actually think it might just end up being a red tape measure instead. My evidence being that it creates extra paperwork to review and even more hoops to go through even in needed orders. And it does not apply to state or federal emergency aid requests or matter of national security or ratification or implementation of international treaty obligations, so this only applies to domestic bills only. Some national security bills theoretically could have an impact on inflation domestically, as could treaty obligations.

    -I’m neither a Democrat nor a Republican. I am however, an American, and a lifetime voter. Some will no doubt attempt to put a label on me..They’re wrong. As such I will comment: Over the past 50 yrs. I’ve witnessed and experienced our country grow in size, finances and number. I’ve witnessed both parties spending what our gov. does not have, and has not had for many yrs. In the past three yrs. the gov. spending has achieved a level like none other. The parties will spin it to their “flavor” when attempting to give acct., but have no doubt, both are equally responsible for the great chasm our country is heading for if it continues to operate in this manner, and there’s nothing to indicate a change by either party. Yes, the Dem.’s are far out-spending the Rep.’s, but the effects don’t care who’s spending, they just are, and will continue to be. If you or I.were to handle our finances in the manner that our gov. does, we’d likely be in Fed. prison. Rather than arguing abt. who’s responsible at this point, you’d think everyone would be working towards a long-term solution. But the reality of what’s happening hasn’t been realized by the majority of citizens, and whether by ignorance, or negligence, most likely will never come to this realization. The political machine has grown to a size never foreseen, nor intended by the founders of our nation. So, here we are, teetering on the edge. A question that nags at me: “Has this been intentional? Looking at the catastrophe at our S. border since Pres. Biden took office, and hearing only yesterday abt. an 800+% increase of “illegal immigrants” coming in across the NY state / Canadian border, combined with actions implemented by the current administration, anyone that has been paying attention has to begin to realize a purposeful design. Whether you will admit it to yourself or not, our nation is in for a big change. What that will look like, based on current, as well as recent past events, does not appeal to me. Maybe our politicians will turn this huge “ark” called America before going over. Not likely. Maybe I, and maybe even my sons will pass before it happens. That still leaves my grandchildren to experience what our great experiment called a Republic will become after it all crashes. Socialist / communist is the likely outcome.
    I sure hope I’m wrong, but i don’t see or hear anything that indicates correction, only more of the same. I’d say, “May God save, and bless the U.S.A., but I know he’s not being allowed to, because our nation doesn’t even want to be known as a “Christian” nation any longer. Who said that? By the actions and events, evidence indicates that fact. Note that I didn’t state there are no Christians in America, only that we as a nation are not, and may never be referred to as a Christian nation again, by choices. So God help us.

Apparently Biden can't grasp that simple fact. Nor can he grasp that raising taxes on businesses, who turn around and raise the costs of their goods and services to offset those taxes , actually results in consumers carrying the brunt of those raised taxes? So when Biden says, no one making under 400, 000 will be facing facing new taxes, it is a lie@ because every consumer, down to the poorest will be faced with the higher costs of businesses doing business!
