    This is the most helpful video I’ve found. A lot of videos I’ve been watching include a lot of items you need to buy with complicated instructions, or overly simplified videos that don’t talk about siphoning the yeast, or how it can make you sick. This was easy and shows how to do it safely. I’m gonna go get plastered now.

      Under bridges in ghetto as spots where it was made not even sterile and I never got sick.... Assume the alcohol cooks it out cause it's so toxic as is 😂

    You can just use the cap. You don’t need the airlock. Just leave the cap on loosely for the gasses to escape. If you slowly squeeze you can hear the cap jump up and down

  • @ashaaib
    @ashaaib 5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    if it stops bubbling after 10-14 days you can put the cap back on and put it in the fridge for a day to kill all the remaining yest then you can siphon it and drink it

    You use the whole pack of yeast? 1 whole pack will make 6 gallons. Use a 1/4-1/2 of a teaspoon is plenty for that size jug.

    MD wine! I usually heat the juice in a pot and stir in my sugar; makes it easier to dissolve. Just make sure it is not too hot when you put the yeast in. I use an empty one gallon milk jug. And sometimes I stick a rubber on top just for a conversation piece. When it goes limp it is ready. At the prison I have seen all kinds of nasty stuff. The worst is tomato puree. Found some made from fruit cocktail that looked and smelled great. I actually taste tested it and it was dang good.

    I did this too. Grape juice no added sugar is best for me. I add sugar after the first week it almost doubles the alcohol. HOOTCH I made it on my channel for Handi Camper he did it and I had to try it too. I'm guessing you missed it? Anyway I tell you I drank the whole thing and I got smashed! LOL

    From what I understand air in are on your wine is good, but people put all kinds of different traps on their containers to keep bad strains of yeast out sometimes brought in on the feet of fly's.

      It’s definitely not required. They do have tannin in it which helps the yeast. It allows your wine to remain on the sweet side. Definitely not required though. Thanks for the comment!
