The explanation is very professional and clear.
One thing I would like to add. The risk of getting bubbles at balustrade close to Ozean is high with PVB, with SGP you won't have this problem.
Important for usage of any laminated glass at villas and apartments, the UV light is not effecting the interior wood and other nature products. The color will remain.

Hi, amazing video, but I would like to correct a few things. about SGP. first, DuPONT is the inventor of the resin, but they do not manufacture the finished product SentryGlas or SGP. second, only one company has the patent to get the original resin from Dupont and that company is called Trosifol which is a part of Kuraray chemicals . and last point, SentryGlas is used in severe weather conditions like you said (hurricanes and places with a lot of natural disasters ) but also has a very high temperature resistance compared to PVB (usually PVB gets very soft at temperatures about 30 degrees whereas SentryGlas will stay still up to 85 degrees) and that's why for balustrades with opened edges and specially in hot locations its safer to use SentryGlas.

good video! please note that Kuraray is the only supplier and manufacture of Sentryglas(R). Kuraray acquired from Dupont the Sentryglas 6 years ago and they don’t call it SGP any more just Sentryglas(R)

Acrylic sucks. It scratches easy and goes foggy over time. Use 3/4"-1" Glass. Silocone bracing or have an Aluminum frame made for top.

How to find which glass is PVB laminated and which one is SGP Laminated if shopkeeper is selling PVB laminated by saying that Glass is SGP Laminated ?

Good point! You can hardly tell the difference only by viewing appearance when both configuration are the same. Like 6+1.52PVB+6 and 6+1.52SGP+6. But when you comparing them together, you will see the difference, SGP is more clear. Otherwise, you have do the physical test like impact test to find out.
Qualified suppliers will not fake PVB glass to replace SGP glass.

If you can see the edge, SG will appear slightly blue and PVB green, although it is subtle

People often specify laminated glass for sound attenuation. PVB excels in this application, but SG or SentryGlas (technically SGP as a term is obsolete, but it's still commonly used) does not offer sound control advantage. Never use SG if you are looking for sound blocking, only PVB in that application.
