enjoyed the video great finds
Thank you. I’m hoping to find more artifacts this weekend at a couple spots I’ve wanted to search.
It becomes an obsession scouring the ground, doesn’t it. You find something significant and then every other pebble jumps out at you. The rewarding thing about it is that all that attention aimed at the ground beneath your feet ends up paying off. Not an if but when sort of situation. Beautiful creek. Enjoy yourself exploring.
Thank you. It sure does, like wanting to find more and more. It’s the feeling of holding something that was important to the past, with historical significance. Happy exploring to you
Most times it seems I have to look but without really trying to find too much or too hard that's when they pop.....also sometimes I just drop and crawl too, I just love it, even if I get skunked
You gotta get your eyes right. Someone with a good eye can follow you down the creek and find stuff you missed and then when he walks back to his truck he finds stuff he missed. If I was you I would get up to higher ground and see if you can any flakes of trimmings of chert or agate or whatever. Build yourself a screen. Look for the flat spot that they would have camped on. You know how you get to Carnegie hall? Practice Practice Practice!
@@sentient8146 I found a pre-form and other points and broken knife up in my yard on higher ground. Been wanting to screen sift for a while but just haven’t done it yet. Maybe I rent a mini excavator and dig some holes 😀
@@infinityiznow I’m thinking I should try crawling to get a different point of view. Next time 👍
*Loved* Not sure but I think I will keep it (half a dozen times in this video) 😂
I didn’t notice, but I’m adding to my rock collection. May need a new display cabinet in the dining room 😂
Awesome
Thanks buddy. Hope all is well over your way
How in the world did you get almost 8,000 new subs in a week?
I had 2 of my videos take off. This one is moving slowly but still growing
@@historyhamm i have a video that got over 95k views and got less than 75 subscribers from it. You have about as many subs now as the most popular artifact channels.
@@historyhamm how is the red camaro doing?
@@Dougarrowhead I'm about to get 8k subs on my other channel and it took 4 years to get that with alot more videos. I figure because my niche has been all over the place on that one
@@Dougarrowhead it's still here. Just waiting on the customer still. I now have a '85 Monte Carlo SS and working on a customer '86 Z28 Camaro
Cornfields next to rivers or brooks or the ocean.
