Im new to pc and am having a hell of a time figuring everything out. I had to research how to keybind my mouse for an hour just to be able to crouch with my mouse. I can now see why consoles are so popular. Just plug and play. Great video however helped me out alot. 👍🏽

this is why i like the logitech Gaming Software. its a little different to the G hub but in the gaming software you can just create new keystrokes, macros, and other bits while basically being on all one page

So my question is, can I change a key on the keyboard to make it do something else? I know Razer products can so I'm a little shocked that I can't do it with Logitech?
I suspect the new version of G Hub works differently. My version is 2022.12, released December 14, 2022. I can't see any way to make it produce the Assignments list in your video and it does not show what the mouse buttons do.
Disable "integrated memory mode" and click on the name of the device on the page that first open. Without "integrated memory mode" there is a lot more options available.
Settings backup: Just once during an update, all settings including color profiles was reset to default, so before each update I make a backup for safety. Or maybe for when you want to format, or just to copy your settings/profiles to another pc... If you want you can disable automatic updates in Ghub's settings. (AppData folder is hidden) C:\Users\...you...\AppData\Local\LGHUB C:\Users\...you...\AppData\Roaming\LGHUB alternate links for copy/paste in a window: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\LGHUB %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\LGHUB So make sure to backup these 2 folders from time to time (or before downloading an update... lol)
Great Explain. When i do a profile for God of War and click that active, then it also overwrites my desktop profile with other makros. I just can’t keep a setup for the games, or desktop. Makes it useless to me with profiles? Or am i doing something wrong?
I just bought a brio 4k , said I needed g hub , downloaded it , opened it and clicked on the brio picture and everything is greyed out. I cant adjust any settings other than camera mode , any ideas why?

is there a way to force stop a running macro, i have a long ass macro running and i cant force stop it, i had to wait until it ends... like when i use release the macro button it just stops?
Hi, thanks for the review video! Are there 'minimize active window' (Win + Down Button) and 'close active window' (ALt+F4) assignments at G Hub in KEYS section? Or is it possible to assign these macros to specific keys at MACROS section?
My guess is that they employed an external contractor for this software, and they rushed it, to the point of swipe-look at the older software and only remember the display images of the products and glows around the buttons. Ease of use testings may have been the last steps (logical to me) and deadlines were too tight to make a second draft of the software.

Fun fact: You can't. You can sort of simulate it with a macro, but it doesn't work quite like a keystroke combo that you are after. For some situations it might work, but for games it most certainly does not. The G hub software really is a joke if you ask me.

Used to have a G700s for years when a button finaly died. Bought a G502 X Lightspeed. Not my first choice because it have 3 less buttons than the G700s. But when I saw the Naga Pro V2 price, I thought it was a very bad joke. And then the software. I miss the old one so much : select on a button, click on the key you wanted. Done. Now you have to scroll all the letters and then drag and drop : who thought it would be a good idea ?!? Software are supposed to improve not regress with each iteration. Someone should be fired at Logitech. The simple fact I had to search a video to understand it says it all.
Oh my goodness, I spent half an hour screaming at this software because it wouldn't let me redo any kind of the default keybindings. What on EARTH is this drag-and-drop system they've got going on!? you may have figured it out, but when you're inside the assignments tab, you need to switch to keys and drag and drop from there. Still retarded but it works.
I've never seen that COG on START UP. So none of what you've shown me means nothing at all to me. I can't start anything. I'm sitting typing on an G 815 and can't do anything with it. Why the hell not? I don't have a keyboard mouse.
This software design... while Logitech might think it's an upgrade for them... it is TERRIBLY DONE. This is absolutely abysmal design for this software and was 10x better in their previous design. I shouldn't have to go to the internet to figure out how to use your god damn software that I was previously using for years. But I do thank Atomic here for putting a video together to help the people out that Logitech apparently doesn't actually care about. This is the opposite of a "user friendly" software design.

You haven't seen SteelSeries yet - it's just unbearable. I do not advise anyone to buy a product from SteelSeries because their software is from the last century - a headache to use.
GHub is the legit the worst software I've ever used in the last few years, won't buy any logitech products in the future if they don't improve this crap.
There was a time when I would only recommend logic gear. That time was before they forced this disaster of so called software onto everyone.. Logitec should be ashamed.

increase the compression ratio. It will help compress it more, but it could lead to your voice sounding to grungy. Hope this helps.

Becuase it is.. Not just because its buggy, but because they left out features the other software had.

Ghub is the worst thing to ever happen to Logitech. I am considering switching to other peripherals after nearly two decades of using their mice.
Worst software I've ever used. Think I'll get a new gaming mouse; obviously not Logitech.
