Watched the intro to this saga (April or May I think) yesterday on a plane because I'm months behind on the podcast, so seeing this get uploaded the day after is a little freaky.
I remember hearing on the radio on Kiss 9.25 Toronto they did a parody of Not Like Us that was "roasting" Kendrick, I was just flabbergasted as the two radio hosts were now dads in their mid 40's, and one of them was Rozz Weston from ET Cananda.
So two radio DJ's tried to Flip Not Like Us? that has to be the most cringe thing and I couldn't imagine listening to that live. I'd rather a War of the Worlds style end of the world prank.

Am I the only person who has never heard either Drake nor Kendrick music played anywhere before? Or heard anyone talk about this stuff outside this podcast? I feel like I'm inside whenever Woolie and Pat talk about how massive this is and how "everyone" talks about this beef and sing these songs everywhere. Outside the one time I looked up these Kendrick songs on youtube to find out what these two were talking about I've never heard them since. Maybe its an American thing? (Yes I know they're canadian but thats basically the same thing to a european)
It's a hip hop culture thing. If you don't have friends or follow people that are into that particular thing then of course you're not going to see it in your daily life. Like That which is the song that started the whole Beef was in the top 10 most streamed songs in the world for months, and Not Like Us is going on to be the fastest song to ever reach 1 billion streams.
