42 yrs old, 184 lbs, can do 3 pullups. Can hold myself at the bar for 5 secs on a chinup but medial elbow pain strikes again. Started from 0 pullups in August.
@@johnnguyen6469 Tendons though... haha. I'm hovering around 168-171 range right now. Can do 3-5 pullups, over 1:17 on the bar, can one arm hang for about 5 seconds now. About to get back on the rowing machine.
I do sets of 20 throughout the day up to 100. I only do that 2 or 3 times a week. Last time I did pull ups everyday (end of 2021) I had strained my forearms pretty bad. Took practically 8 months to recover from that.
Thank you for sharing the video. Very useful! 😁👍 This is my pull ups schedule every day since last February. It helps a lot 😎 Monday: 150 Tuesday: 100 Wednesday: 50, 30, 20 Thursday: 150 Friday: 100 Saturday: 50, 30, 20 Sunday (rest) : only 50
I've done 36 chin ups after a day's work of landscaping in my 40s have a break from training and you'll battle to get 10 reps out now I use an 10 mm cord to give me the extra 5 to 10 pounds of help but I still can get 10 out if I loose the extra kilos I feel that I'd get 15 out
No one STARTS doing 100 pullups, much less every day. I bet one in a thousand of the guys in any gym could even do that one day, much less day after day. This is ridiculous
i do 100 minnimun 6 days a week in sets of 20 15 and 10, doesn't take me more than 30 - 40 minutes combined with 200 abs in between and at night i do 150 push ups in sets of 50 and 90 squats in sets of 30 depending how i feel.. i'm not even that strong, started 2 and a half months ago not being able to do more than 6 and now my max is 26.. if i can do it anybody can, the result is worth it for discipline and staying fit i would recommend starting with pushups for like 2 weeks and always trying to get more reps, always pay attention if your body can't handle more and you'll be fine to go into pull ups and do the same. it's also good to to switch to chinups or different holds when you get a nice number of reps on pull ups so you are always forcing yourself to get stronger on different muscles.
I did 3x12 pull ups at a time, 3 times a week for 2 weeks and my vein had a blood clot due to over exertion i think. Now i have switched to twice a week and can barely do 6 at a time and my whole arm now is not as strong as before and i cant lift as much as before. Its been a month now but I’m still stuck at the same weight i was lifting before.
@username I'm not a gamer. I am pretty active sportswise. I play regularly. It wasn't lack of pain tolerance. I was just straining the same body part everyday without giving it rest, that's all.
How often do you pull up?
5 days a week
Almost everyday but I don't go balls out 100
Around 5 - 20 pull ups
Everyday
Everyday I’m able to
100. 2-3 days out of the week.

If you lose weight you’ll be able to do more pull-ups. Don’t think your age is a factor

@username neutral grip definitely helped with that process. It has been like my main grip variation lately.
@username I agree. My shoulders love it lol. I just did 22 and posted a short if you want to check it out.

But im a little confused. Shouldnt you have at least one day off in between?
Same but i take one day off Sunday 🙃
How you rest enough for the muscles to recover?
@@pine6176 recovered during Sunday (only 50 pull-ups).
@@Strong_Amigo_Dan damn. I do about 70-100 pull ups during my workout and muscles feel so sore the next day, I just can’t recover that fast
I do only 300 chinups in 30 minutes. 5-6 times per week. And running 3k everyday
How does it feel? Can you throw human? If you can i ll do as you do
Good for your heart rate I guess
@@Rozz_sw I get used to it. Just a endurance exercise :)
@@RJ-is9ko yes. I have full time job. So exercise just a part of my life. Not all everything.
@@namhophuong2776 I never said it's bad. It's good. Gets your heart rate up
I reached my maximum at 801 pull ups so far
I guess this depends on your body i know someone who has done 100 plus pull ups everyday for last 20 years and feels stronger than ever.

i do 40 (10 x 4) every 2/3 days so 3 or 4 times a week....that seem to work for me
Same
I do 3 sets of 20, 3 times a week but i may just do mondays and fridays if means better gains
logically speaking, I think a fit US marine can not and will not do 100 pull ups every day
Im at 15 pull ups a set but im 49 years I do 4 sets 2 x a week.
100+ everyday.

I did 50 e everyday for 1 week
But I also did different movements
If you're trying to do 100 pullups in one session yeah, but if you split it up over like 15 sets it's doable. Maybe not every day.

I've already done like 70 today what are talking about?
Don’t forget… healthy looks different on every body.
i do 15 pullups 2 reps
long road. I can't even do one 😂
Use bands or pull up machine
What if i do 100 bodyweight rows would that help?
I do 100 pull ups 6 days a week
Nice
If thats like 5 sets of 20 then sounds doable but if 1 set of 100 i would end up destroying my arms lol
Back day 108
Bla bla rock the road boysss pull upp
15×4 is enough
I did 200 today. My hands hurt alot.
I did 170 in one day at 14 my body hurts
