i agree i don’t think lilly is overrated at all! she’s so talented with her flexibility and technique and leaps. i will agree that her turns aren’t perfect, but she’s still young and that would definitely come with age. also her facials are really good for her age. she’s only 10 but she can act and portray a character! yes it’s not that mature because she’s young (kinda like maddie in the earlier seasons: she could act and portray the story but her emotions were nowhere near the maturity that she had in the later seasons), but once again that will get better as she gets older. overall i think she’s an awesome dancer!
I think one of the reasons Birthday is so popular is that it was one of few dances in that season performed at a legitimate dance competition, so she got ranked among genuine results with a broader reach. She was one of the higher scores of the whole season there, I remember seeing her dance in the top ten at the close of the season and deciding to watch dance moms because of it
I agree with most of these but not the Chloe and Kendall one. Give them the same equal solos and Chloe would win every time. Just my opinion. I love how actually uncommon your opinions are lol cause most opinion videos aren’t really anymore
As a former dancer Kendall was never even close to Chloe in terms of footwork or technique. I don’t actually think Kendall was ever that committed to her dancing and it showed she looked bored most of the time and her footwork and turns were always sloppy. I think she’s a great little entertainer but her dancing doesn’t do much imo

I love how you kept your opinions respectful! I’ll admit, I disagree with some of them (especially 4, I feel like both Maddie and Brynn were evenly matched - Brynn had stronger technique but Maddie connected more with the audience and was more fluid in her dancing), but I love how you didn’t hate on any of the dances and that you were respectful to all and acknowledged their talent and hard work. Luciana Vega I know that 😂 I don’t take away anything from any other dancers while watching their solos. If I’m watching a Chloe video, then I’ll try to make it all about Chloe and no other dancer. I do the same for all the dancers. Normally I just comment my own opinions about Maddie on an opinion video - a video made by the fandom. That’s a sharing platform where we can openly discuss all the girls, so I compliment dancers there. Similarly to how you always bring up Chloe, I enjoy writing about Maddie and Kalani, since they’re my personal favorites. Nothing against any of the other girls, I love them all, but to me personally, Maddie and Kalani stand out in some ways. I try not to make it all about Maddie, but I tend to go off on a tangent because I see so many people hating on Maddie and it’s painful to see so many people tearing apart a little girl 😭
Personally, I think lilly is incredible. she has so much more flexibility than the girls in the earlier seasons, and every single performance just captivates me. Her ballet technique is better than Chloe's ever was, and she does really good facials. I think she was the best dancer on dance moms point blank, except for maybe brynn.

I agree that Can I Do This? should’ve beaten Loose Cannon. Nia had nice strength and musicality while Maddie kinda just flailed around the stage. I say that we all join together to create a Justice for Nia program 😂

i agree with basically everything. especially lilly, although her technique is wonderful it doesn’t automatically make her dancing better. i will admit sometimes i cringe when she does certain moves. i think because she’s so tiny and her back is so flexible she cuts herself off while she dances all the time. it’s hard to explain but hopefully someone will get it. it’s just kind of unnatural looking and she doesn’t travel much
sink or swim was amazing that’s honestly one of my favorite dances out of the whole show, it is definitely not overrated. it was way better then maddies tap solo. And the waiting room was appropriate for nationals it’s the same thing as the nationals dance from season 2, 4 and 6. so I think I proved my point
Agree with all. Except from Kendall being better than Chloe, at that time (season 4) they were equals, Kendall was at her peak, and Chloe saddly regressing because all of the hate from Abby. And I also disagree that Maddie should'be won against Mackenzie. I think Mackenzie was great (Sink or swim is overrated and It's not her best solo) but I think she deserved the win. It was so much more entertaining than Maddie.

My opinions have changed so much… I get it!!😂 I agree about Loose Cannon vs Can I Do This. Imo, Kendell was only better than Chloe in season 7, and not by much. They were close in season 4. Kendell improved so much during her time on the show. She became one of my favs. I’m not a huge fan of The Saints or Birthday. There were so many amazing solos in season 4 that one doesn’t stand out much. You Go Go Girl is my least favorite solo from Maddie. Sink or Swim wasn’t amazing either, but Kenzie was adorable and had high energy. They both had much better in that season. It’s hard to believe Don’t Take My Fire and Bat Crazy was the same season. My unpopular opinion. I would not have been surprised and kind of expected Kendalls voodoo doll solo to beat Maddie at season 3 nationals. I know Jill would have been unbearable had that happened, but I still think that

Personally I think Lilly's facial expressions are way better than Maddie's. Maddie's facial expressions throughout the whole thing was: 😩😔 Lilly can do multiple creepy, scary, sad emotions throughout a dance. Straight Escape was AMAZING bc she made it look like she was really insane and creepy. It wasnt just the same sad face looking like she was gonna cry....it was smiling creepily, staring, looking scared, insane, amazing dance.

@@ashkhol Maddie has done Tap before and did amazing in it. Entertaining and everything! For some reason this didn't seem good for her. It wasn't challenging, her acting was minimal (because there wasn't much to act on) and it just seemed so...boring. Sink or Swim deserved to beat it because of how much more entertaining it was. Not first imo, but place nonetheless. And it's okay! I am all for having conversation! 😊

on dance moms they do the dances twice once for judging, once for filming that’s why sometimes the dances are a mess but still get very high scoring. I do still love this video tho!

i so agree with the s5 nationals piece! they really should’ve chosen something else, as a judge told our choral director about the piece we chose, “just because you can doesn’t mean you should” and also kenzie really shouldn’t have beaten maddie there, no offense to kenzie. there are instances where i think she should’ve but not that time. and gia is literally so amazing and does not get enough credit for it.

Unpopular Opinion: I very mich dislike Maddie. I think shes an incredible dancer but after watching her attitude toward the show that made her a household name and how she treated everyone, especially Chloe after they left was just plain awful. Like when Chole won a teen choice and Maddie, her "best friend" didnt even congratulate or look happy for her. Throughout the show, I find it hard to watch her because she just seems so bratty. Once again, I thinl she has incredible talent, but I dont like her persona. Please no hate
For the sink or swim one, I agree that it’s overrated, but as a tap dancer myself I don’t think you go girl should’ve beat it. I love watching Maddie tap especially since she was the only one able to tap on the show (I think) but I just didn’t think you go girl was better than sink or swim.
The Sink or Swim one, THIS. the only merit it has is beating Maddie, and it was mainly because Maddie's was bad rather than Kenzie doing very good in hers

I think the reason Sink or Swim was so much worse then Kenzie’s other Season 5 solos was because she had so much pressure about going against Maddie that she was downright terrified

Somewhat agree/mixed thoughts? - Mackenzie was fabulous at hip hop and one of the best on the team, however, I would agree that people in the fandom tend to overrate it a tiny bit especially with bully. 2. Disagree - GiaNina was stunning in this dance and fit the role of the devil perfectly. Although I felt that Savannah was better technically, GiaNina's broadway stage presence stood out to me and I don't think that anyone else in the trio could play the role as well. 3. Mixed thoughts - although Nia's technique was decent and over hated, I certainly disliked the costume, choreo, and overall theme of the solo. This was one of the many ocassions where Nia was set up to fail. 4. Somewhat disagree - Brynn was amazing but I don't think she outshined Maddie, the two seemed to dance well as a pair and were on an equal level in that routine. 5. Agree - it had a powerful meaning but the choreo was much too simple/unchallenging for nationals. 6. Agree - definitely the weakest season in terms of group numbers, however the girls aren't to blame because they were so young and on a much lower level of skill so the choreo had to be less competitive. 7. Mixed thoughts - I liked the solo and it definitely should have placed in the top 5, however, there were a few mistakes and it's a tad bit overrated by the fandom. 8. Disagree - Kendall for sure improved more than Chloe and had a huge breakthrough that season, but Chloe was simply on a higher level of technique and skill and beat Kendall every other time, also I wouldn't say her flexibility "regressed" either. (although I feel it's a bit unfair to compare them because Chloe was 2 years older and more experienced). 9. Mixed thoughts - Jade was a definite standout and I think it would have worked well as a solo, however I really enjoyed it as a group number and the routine was beautiful with all the dancers. 10. Disagree - although Mackenzie had a few slip-ups and Maddie's solo was overall cleaner, Sink or Swim had much harder/challenging choreography and You Go Go Girl was too simple/bland for a first place win. 11. Mixed thoughts - I agree she was overrated in season 6/7, simply because she lacked a LOT of control in her insane flexibility, but she was really phenomonal in season 8 and improved immensely on her balance/control. 12. Mixed thoughts - I honestly liked both solos and I think it could have gone either way (although I do agree that it was not Maddie's best). 13. Agree - I felt she was so bashed as a dancer all the time even though she was genuinely better than over half the dancers in season 8, and probably the best jazz performer on the entire show. 14. Mixed thoughts - I don't think it was Maddie's best and it was a little standard, but I don't feel like it's "overrated" by the fandom. 15. Somewhat agree - it was definitely entertaining! The audience interaction was so much fun and all the dancers were really enjoying themselves. That being said, I felt like it would have worked a lot better as a performance piece than a competition piece.
Well it's understandable for season 1 to have bad group dances because they were little I also think that with a better hairdo, Maddie may have won but I think it was good that Kenzie won because she could make Abby stop comparing her to maddie

1. I don't really think Mackenzie's Hip Hop was overrated, I think this because only a few people were pretty good at hip-hop on the elite team and they weren't as trained. This has to be my favorite solo of Mackenzie in season 6, that is because she uses her charisma and facials and after season 4 she wasn't really using that. 2. I don't watch season 8 as much but I strongly agree, I feel like if it was a duet with Sarah and GiaNina it would be better, I love Hannah she is one of my favorite dancers in season 8 but she was a little off. 3. Okay, but seriously I agree that Lilly is overrated. Please don’t attack me people. I don’t hate her or anything. Her flexibility, technique and control are amazing for her age. But there are people saying she was the best dancer in season 8 and that is a complete joke to me. In my opinion, Elliana is and always has been better than Lilly. She has everything Lilly has and more. And other dancers like Savannah and Brady have better technique than Lilly. And in my opinion dancers like Elliana, Savannah, Sarah, Pressley and even Gia outshine her in performance. I’m sorry, but I really don’t get the hype with Lilly’s facials. To me 99% of the time, her facials look forced and are over dramatic. It honestly makes it hard for me to watch her solos sometimes. But with time, I think her performance aspect of her dancing will mature and she will be absolutely incredible. I just don’t think she’s quite there yet, whereas other people on the season 8 team are. (Yes, I know that they’re older, but if we’re comparing them then age doesn’t matter to me)
I cannot agree with 11 Lilly is one of the best dancers of Season 8. Black widow was her best solo and its underrated. Also her facials are the best things of her dance I Think they are even better than Maddies. She has a great technique and she is so flexible

i agree i don’t think lilly is overrated at all! she’s so talented with her flexibility and technique and leaps. i will agree that her turns aren’t perfect, but she’s still young and that would definitely come with age. also her facials are really good for her age. she’s only 10 but she can act and portray a character! yes it’s not that mature because she’s young (kinda like maddie in the earlier seasons: she could act and portray the story but her emotions were nowhere near the maturity that she had in the later seasons), but once again that will get better as she gets older. overall i think she’s an awesome dancer!

I think one of the reasons Birthday is so popular is that it was one of few dances in that season performed at a legitimate dance competition, so she got ranked among genuine results with a broader reach. She was one of the higher scores of the whole season there, I remember seeing her dance in the top ten at the close of the season and deciding to watch dance moms because of it

I think Chloe had bad choreography in s4 but was better than Kendall (her turns, technique, facials) Kendall really did improve though.
As a former dancer Kendall was never even close to Chloe in terms of footwork or technique. I don’t actually think Kendall was ever that committed to her dancing and it showed she looked bored most of the time and her footwork and turns were always sloppy. I think she’s a great little entertainer but her dancing doesn’t do much imo

I’ll admit, I disagree with some of them (especially 4, I feel like both Maddie and Brynn were evenly matched - Brynn had stronger technique but Maddie connected more with the audience and was more fluid in her dancing), but I love how you didn’t hate on any of the dances and that you were respectful to all and acknowledged their talent and hard work.

I don’t take away anything from any other dancers while watching their solos. If I’m watching a Chloe video, then I’ll try to make it all about Chloe and no other dancer. I do the same for all the dancers.
Normally I just comment my own opinions about Maddie on an opinion video - a video made by the fandom.
That’s a sharing platform where we can openly discuss all the girls, so I compliment dancers there.
Similarly to how you always bring up Chloe, I enjoy writing about Maddie and Kalani, since they’re my personal favorites. Nothing against any of the other girls, I love them all, but to me personally, Maddie and Kalani stand out in some ways.
I try not to make it all about Maddie, but I tend to go off on a tangent because I see so many people hating on Maddie and it’s painful to see so many people tearing apart a little girl 😭
Personally, I think lilly is incredible. she has so much more flexibility than the girls in the earlier seasons, and every single performance just captivates me. Her ballet technique is better than Chloe's ever was, and she does really good facials. I think she was the best dancer on dance moms point blank, except for maybe brynn.

I honestly don't get how blue moon beat TKO, her flexibility was amazing but she was too bouncy and she just flopped around for most of it and I don't find it fun to watch, but I found Eliana much more fun to watch

Imo, Kendell was only better than Chloe in season 7, and not by much. They were close in season 4. Kendell improved so much during her time on the show. She became one of my favs.
I’m not a huge fan of The Saints or Birthday. There were so many amazing solos in season 4 that one doesn’t stand out much. You Go Go Girl is my least favorite solo from Maddie. Sink or Swim wasn’t amazing either, but Kenzie was adorable and had high energy. They both had much better in that season. It’s hard to believe Don’t Take My Fire and Bat Crazy was the same season. Same with The Woods and You Go Go Girl

My unpopular opinion. I would not have been surprised and kind of expected Kendalls voodoo doll solo to beat Maddie at season 3 nationals. I know Jill would have been unbearable had that happened, but I still think that

It wasn't challenging, her acting was minimal (because there wasn't much to act on) and it just seemed so...boring. Sink or Swim deserved to beat it because of how much more entertaining it was. Not first imo, but place nonetheless. And it's okay! I am all for having conversation! 😊

i so agree with the s5 nationals piece! they really should’ve chosen something else, as a judge told our choral director about the piece we chose, “just because you can doesn’t mean you should” and also kenzie really shouldn’t have beaten maddie there, no offense to kenzie. there are instances where i think she should’ve but not that time. and gia is literally so amazing and does not get enough credit for it.

Unpopular Opinion: I very mich dislike Maddie. I think shes an incredible dancer but after watching her attitude toward the show that made her a household name and how she treated everyone, especially Chloe after they left was just plain awful. Like when Chole won a teen choice and Maddie, her "best friend" didnt even congratulate or look happy for her. Throughout the show, I find it hard to watch her because she just seems so bratty. Once again, I thinl she has incredible talent, but I dont like her persona. Please no hate
For the sink or swim one, I agree that it’s overrated, but as a tap dancer myself I don’t think you go girl should’ve beat it. I love watching Maddie tap especially since she was the only one able to tap on the show (I think) but I just didn’t think you go girl was better than sink or swim.
The Sink or Swim one, THIS. the only merit it has is beating Maddie, and it was mainly because Maddie's was bad rather than Kenzie doing very good in hers

I think the reason Sink or Swim was so much worse then Kenzie’s other Season 5 solos was because she had so much pressure about going against Maddie that she was downright terrified
1. Somewhat agree/mixed thoughts? - Mackenzie was fabulous at hip hop and one of the best on the team, however, I would agree that people in the fandom tend to overrate it a tiny bit especially with bully.
2. Disagree - GiaNina was stunning in this dance and fit the role of the devil perfectly. Although I felt that Savannah was better technically, GiaNina's broadway stage presence stood out to me and I don't think that anyone else in the trio could play the role as well.
3. Mixed thoughts - although Nia's technique was decent and over hated, I certainly disliked the costume, choreo, and overall theme of the solo. This was one of the many ocassions where Nia was set up to fail.
4. Somewhat disagree - Brynn was amazing but I don't think she outshined Maddie, the two seemed to dance well as a pair and were on an equal level in that routine.
5. Agree - it had a powerful meaning but the choreo was much too simple/unchallenging for nationals.
6. Agree - definitely the weakest season in terms of group numbers, however the girls aren't to blame because they were so young and on a much lower level of skill so the choreo had to be less competitive.
7. Mixed thoughts - I liked the solo and it definitely should have placed in the top 5, however, there were a few mistakes and it's a tad bit overrated by the fandom.
8. Disagree - Kendall for sure improved more than Chloe and had a huge breakthrough that season, but Chloe was simply on a higher level of technique and skill and beat Kendall every other time, also I wouldn't say her flexibility "regressed" either. (although I feel it's a bit unfair to compare them because Chloe was 2 years older and more experienced).
9. Mixed thoughts - Jade was a definite standout and I think it would have worked well as a solo, however I really enjoyed it as a group number and the routine was beautiful with all the dancers.
10. Disagree - although Mackenzie had a few slip-ups and Maddie's solo was overall cleaner, Sink or Swim had much harder/challenging choreography and You Go Go Girl was too simple/bland for a first place win.
11. Mixed thoughts - I agree she was overrated in season 6/7, simply because she lacked a LOT of control in her insane flexibility, but she was really phenomonal in season 8 and improved immensely on her balance/control.
12. Mixed thoughts - I honestly liked both solos and I think it could have gone either way (although I do agree that it was not Maddie's best).
13. Agree - I felt she was so bashed as a dancer all the time even though she was genuinely better than over half the dancers in season 8, and probably the best jazz performer on the entire show.
14. Mixed thoughts - I don't think it was Maddie's best and it was a little standard, but I don't feel like it's "overrated" by the fandom.
15. Somewhat agree - it was definitely entertaining! The audience interaction was so much fun and all the dancers were really enjoying themselves. That being said, I felt like it would have worked a lot better as a performance piece than a competition piece.

1. I don't really think Mackenzie's Hip Hop was overrated, I think this because only a few people were pretty good at hip-hop on the elite team and they weren't as trained. The girls portrayed their characters really well, I don't think the girls were suppose to be dancing together because I kind of think that was the point of the story telling, if so they danced together majority of the time it wouldn't have made sense.

Okay, but seriously I agree that Lilly is overrated. Please don’t attack me people. I don’t hate her or anything. Her flexibility, technique and control are amazing for her age. But there are people saying she was the best dancer in season 8 and that is a complete joke to me. In my opinion, Elliana is and always has been better than Lilly. She has everything Lilly has and more. And other dancers like Savannah and Brady have better technique than Lilly. And in my opinion dancers like Elliana, Savannah, Sarah, Pressley and even Gia outshine her in performance. I’m sorry, but I really don’t get the hype with Lilly’s facials. To me 99% of the time, her facials look forced and are over dramatic. It honestly makes it hard for me to watch her solos sometimes. But with time, I think her performance aspect of her dancing will mature and she will be absolutely incredible. I just don’t think she’s quite there yet, whereas other people on the season 8 team are. (Yes, I know that they’re older, but if we’re comparing them then age doesn’t matter to me)

I cannot agree with 11 Lilly is one of the best dancers of Season 8. Black widow was her best solo and its underrated. Also her facials are the best things of her dance I Think they are even better than Maddies. She has a great technique and she is so flexible

Sink or swim is my fave kenzie solo regardless of whether she best maddie or not
I disagree with opinion 10 because I like or dislike dances based on how much the entertain me more than if the technique is good or if they mess up and to me sink or swim in very entertaining and you go go girl isn’t, but that’s just my opinion :]

For 10 I agree the winning thing I wasn’t surprised that Kenzie won but I also wouldn’t have been surprised if Maddie won and it is very overrated to me it was just an average Kenzie solo

I think Savannah, Gianina, and Lilly were the best. The only thing is Lilly made lots of mistakes in group dances.
