Hi, Not clear while you were explaining the name of the ‘broken part.’ You cut yourself out. Please explain with name of parts to justify your points. With all due respect, you were criticizing the ‘design’ but you did not actually explain the parts, functions, purpose etc. not enough data. What is the name of that car part? How did you fix it chief? Thank you
I have the 2013 E70 N63 version of your car. Had this engine light come of about 2 weeks ago. The mechanic said it was fuel pump related, so we ended up replacing the fuel pump then the control unit and a bunch of other things and the problem hasn't been fixed yet. The weird thing about it is that the light would come on the first time I drive it, then if I turn it off for about an hour and turn it back on it would go away. Do you have any suggestions?
Hi, Remember this is not a check engine light Is a engine malfunction light, this light is more related with vacuum lights and where this lines are attached to. According bmw dealer and long periods of not changing motor oil, Change motor oil, clean your vanos sensor ( easy to do ) and 1/4 inch tiny hoses on your left side , t’s a very good start, good luck
This post gets a thumbs down because it is a tech video with absolutely no technical info. If I refer to this video, it is telling me that if I have a check engine light on, I should repair the hose mentioned in the video. The chances of this being the issue of a check engine light on this car, or any, is less than odds of winning the lottery. The guy didn't even mention what the diagnostic code was that was activating the check engine light. For all we know, the check engine light came back on again after the video was posted. Just not enough information to be technically reliable.
Hi, check all vacuum hoses for cracks And replace motor oil every 4 to 5 thousand miles instead of 15k Mine went off again just with the oil change Now is back for the 3rd time , is annoying But I can’t sell it like this.
Hi , your car get stuck at 30kms Or you are scared that can get stuck at 30kms Most of the times that light is for a turbo small hose on the lest , it get tiny cracks and your turbos don’t work, yes your car runs fine but no the turbos and will not get you stranded okey
Erick Contreras no it never got stuck I bought it used and it had no lights. While driving on highway cruising engine malfunction light came on. Restarting the car on and off takes the light off.

Before I replaced those Bosch spark plugs with bmw original ones and engine light went off and now it’s back I need to check those pipes

Ask for a vacuum hose and should work perfect, and Change the motor oil if you have engine multifunction yellow light
