This was awesome, I'm having bad back spasms and this helped me disassociate enough from the pain to get my dishes and litter box done. God bless you sir
If you think it's a "back then" problem, I'm sorry but it's still that way. We in Missouri have complained about the great cats encroaching on our homes. Both black panther and mountain lion. They told us we were ignorant hillbillies and that there were no great cats in Missouri. Thirty years later my neighbour shot one for attacking his horses and dropped it at the conservation officers feet and told him to go do his damned job.
There are quite a few, in fact gorillas were cryptids to europeans for a long time mainly for the same reason as the peccaries. Definitely down to do another 5!
Oh yeah these are similar to wendigos iirc. I wouldn't mind covering them on their own but I think a more extensive wendigo video would be pretty fitting, kind of like the bear vid but with more research.

Some people still think the biological origin of the "Cat Sith" is still at large though... 🤷♂️
Could be a case of convergent evolution perhaps
Are there more cryptids like this? If so will there be a part 2?

@@lilwaterbill6244 i felt like that diatribe at the end of the peccary section was leading to the giant ground sloth sightings.
I had to stop myself lmao. The Peccary will be brought up in the sloth video trust.
I enjoy your sense of humour.
A very watchable, impressive effort. How about the Kiwakwa (or Chendo) from the dark woods of Maine?

"sith" is pronounced "she"
I heard pancakes use to be a cryptid 😅😅😅😅😅
Are there any plant cryptids, like a plant that has been catalogued by one guy that is completely unique and has never been found again?
Yeah I remember there were some plant cryptids like that. I think there was a type of banana plant they only saw once in Australia iirc.
Would the plant drawings in that one manuscript be categorised as that?
Xiphos is greek for sword. Gladius is sword in latin. So ziphus is Greek not latin
Good reference

I can see how Pokémon videos could lead to cryptid videos
The pokemon to cryptid pipeline needs to be studied
