Oh man I love the plot twist. Masanori was after Zakusa all along, knowing he has the biggest potential to grow. Meanwhile, Michiru is using Shinobu as an ace in the hole due to his resistance to change!
Masanori really had it all play out in the palm of his hand. The way he beautifully set up his combo in a smooth and nonchalant way was really like a sorcerer weaving magic... dare I say... Alchemagic? He got both outcomes he wanted like Alchemagic. If he won, he can pressure Zakusa into joining; but even if he lost, Zakusa would have been shaken and he could still approach Zakusa whenever he wanted. A perfect and terrifying schemer to have on your side.
This episode..... wow... From Michiru and Shinobu's unlikely bonding to Masanori being Shinonome on crack to freaking Masques cards to Zakuza's internal conflict to Chaos Breaker's essence potentially creeping up to Orfist?! That's A LOT to take in... and there's still 5-6 episodes left lol.

But he doesn't take himself too seriously and revels in every opportunity he has to put on his cartoonishly evil persona. While I obviously don't agree with what he's done throughout the series, he's my second or third favourite Overdress character purely for how entertaining he is.
I really start to think they are going for one fighter from each nation. Cuz it felt like Masanori was actually after Zakusa and he used the fact that he would protect Mirei to get him. If so they only need Raika (KS) and Yuyu (DE). Plot thickens and Im all here for it.
Some of the chooses do seem to be conflicting with each other, like how Masanori and Urara both Stoicheia, and michiru and Sophie both using dark states, unless the members gathering the fighters don’t count
Maybe there can be more Masque for different nation but yea, there should at least 1 Masque for each nation. Maybe Bastion will get Masque since it is a g3 order.

been rewatching this episode alot and i failed to noticed two things in the beginning he was texting someone saying he was going to " run into him as planned" and when masanori was talking to jinki there were talking about zakusa have "powers" so that mkaes zakusa, yu-yu, michuru, and urara as people with powers thats been semi revealed so far. Im excited to see where this goes
The new deck of Masanori is based on masks. The masks are the symbol of People Who hide their True intention, just like Masanori. I find it very interesting

SPOILERS Really sad that Zakusa lost(please give my man a dub for once), but god all that new Zorga support was tight. Kinda sad thatZakusa is probably gonna become a reluctant evil now. Also damn Masanori’s making Shinonome look like a clown in terms of how much of a menace they are. I was wondering how shinobu was gonna come in after being in the previews, but was surprised he was interacting with Michiru the whole episode, and Michiru telling Shinobu he has the “resistance to change” feels like heavy foreshadowing for something down the line. Also Raika about to get clapped next episode I can feel it.
Holy crap I can't believe how hard they went with this, I like the tie-in between Season 1 and Season 2 of Overdress with Masanori, why Zakusa wasn't around during Reno and Tenma's visit, the painting references as Zakusa's new purpose, and then the tie-in as well of "That thing" Sophie didn't activate meaning probably a Unica Masques, I'm a lil disappointed Masques is just basically reverse but more like willing instead of being possessed but holy wow. Great episode, R.I.P Grave=Zorga though, we'll never see him, would've been funny to see him ride Red Zorga and Zakusa being like a new Zorga? and then Masanori going yeah but anyways that's not important, go into Maques lol

I enjoy the mask gimmick. It isn’t focused on markers and is basically just a upgraded version of the g3. Although I will say I’m a little worried that zorga can have up to 30k to front row with up to 5 attacks (this is assuming the g2 in drop can activate with multiple copys)
@@starbound100 I definitely agree with that, but Zorga as a deck can generate so much power easily, while still having advantage with calling from drop. It’s also worth mentioning some of the top decks now don’t even reach the same power scale Zorga has. Youth can only generate at most a plus 15k to front and Jet needing 3 turns to achieve 25k. I could be incredibly exaggerating the impact, but from we’ve seen, Zorga might put in some work for the meta.

I know this is a stretch. But this is my speculation since so far we have Urara who can "Hear" the units and Michiru who can "See" a fighters/persons flame. Are they(Jinki and Team Uniforms) targeting people who have enhanced versions of the 5 senses for vanguard? So far they have acquired 2 people but that leaves them with them looking for 3 others which have the sense of Taste, Touch, and Smell.
I feel like Yuyu will be the Touch because he seems to know when triggers will come at times, and in season 1 when he sees trickstar and tries reaching out to grab him

Zorga is pure crazy from this set. 5 over 30k + attacks, 2 of them with crit by Prison Dragon. Then you can also abuse Inlet by putting it behind VG for draw source. So with Cloud Miasma + Wandering Soul that + 4 cards with 5 super strong attacks. They need to update decks to this level because Youthberk was too unfair, same is Magnolia. By doing that, they are not gonna limit cards again.

Masques of Hydragrum might as well be all nations order. That means all nations can Persona if the opponent is at g3. In Drajewelled, that's definitely deadly. If Drajewelled gains something like Valeos skill then it's gg for the opponent since they can't check defensive. And that is actually one thing Drajewelled needs to be the strongest.

If Drajewelled gains something like Valeos skill then it's gg for the opponent since they can't check defensive. And that is actually one thing Drajewelled needs to be the strongest.

Anyways I also like how this series just didn't brush off characters like Shinobu which might make him relevant later on I guess, I mean he did talk to Michiru, it has to have more meaning later on, Next week we see Sophie and Raika, which might mean either they rematch and Raika loses this time and maybe she'll show Raika Michiru's current state at Uniformers which we might see his reaction from Episode 1 and it might force Raika to join Uniformers, or they'll just talk.
Pure crap. Sophie has ZERO reason to reveal ANYTHING about Michiru to Raika. She is here to show him that if she goes all out then he stood zero chance. For Raika, actions speak louder than words, so he won't gonna make any excuse if he lose.
@@kodokutamashi1569 They can't just meet out of the blue without any reason, what might happen (if they're gonna fight) is that there might be conditions to this fight similar to Masanori VS Zakusa, if Raika wins, he would ask Sophie about whats going on and if Sophie wins she will force Raika to do her a favor, which most likely involve Uniformers.
