I'm thrilled that Eric Wind reached out to collaborate on a video together. If you're not familiar with Eric, you might recognize him from Hodinkee's Reference Points series, which I still watch to brush up on my vintage Rolex knowledge. Check out his Instagram and explore extraordinary vintage watches at www.windvintage.com. Stay tuned for another upcoming video together!
I love the small dial vintage watches, they are elegant and comfortable on the wrist. Great video with the vintage expert sharing his knowledge, great job Chris!
Picked up a AMZWATCH's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
Great video! I have the Rolex 16014 that was shown in the video at 7:02 with the white dial. I inherited it after my dad passed away in 1996. The watch had never been service, so I took it to the Rolex Service Center in Beverly Hills in 2022. And yes, I had the watch polished and it looks beautiful! Every time I look at the watch, I think of my dad.
Picked up a MAMACOO's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
5:01 how do you know if something is art deco? I’ve been hearing that a lot, and when I looked it up it was in reference to an interior design style from the 20s and 30s, so is it all subjective?
I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the MAMACOO's watches are the most intriguing.
Feel they should have visited vintage watches from the 1960’s and beyond. My 1985 datejust should have been in the conversation since the topic is vintage watches
Hey, don’t pick on my new generation Air King! I love the green and yellow color splashes 😂. Seriously, I just discovered your channel and I’ve been a Wind fan for years. Thanks for the great content.

Eric should have a tab on his website selling watches under $ 7k. I hope Charlie Dunne can create it.
Great video. And I’m definitely a fan of the engine turned bezel.

Are you wearing a Citizen Tsuno Bullhead?
rolex is king beautiful watches
A blue dial 1601 DJ would've been my first Rolex if I didnt get the call for a modern DJ 36mm in a week's time.
Where the Explorers at lol! I need an Eric Wind AI to recite reference numbers to me to soothe all my stresses.
I'll take one of each watch, please!
Yes please 😆. Thanks for watching!
Imho, these old movements are not worth it. If you cant sleep without a rolex, atleast get a 32xx movement series
Still no love for the Oysterdate 6694 😢
