It’s really important to consider condition of the watches you’re talking about. The watches condition changes the price significantly. New, like new, retail ready, naked, complete, pre owned, all of these factors change the prices. Unfortunately many people watch this video and think that all models now should be at the prices you listed disregarding condition.

Teddy, I’m wondering if the rising cost of living is going to force a big shift in the watch industry. The trend toward in-house movements has put a lot of brands like Omega, IWC, and Tudor out of reach for so many of us. I know that I’ve re-evaluated, and just can’t justify spending so much on a watch, even though I had done so several years ago. I’d love to, but I just can’t take the leap. I’ve started to personally value the sub $1,000 range, quartz and mechanical alike. Are you seeing any such shift amount your viewers and consumers? Or is interest in watches above $5,000 still going strong? Thanks for your great content!

If you don’t like it, don’t click through and DO click through when you see “Grand Seiko…” FFS, Teddy is not even an AD for Rolex and he cranks out Rolex content. I don’t like that this video comes across from the prospective as a seller, when Teddy says certain models/colors/sizes “don’t trade as well”, or the particular watch isn’t doing as well as during the peak of the Rolex hype market. This makes it sounds like the viewer is only trying to make money off these watches. I’m an enthusiast, so I’m always interested in buying these watches so something that trades well to me means cheaper prices, not higher prices. Maybe this is just me. But it comes across as trying to help the “money enthusiasts” and not the watch enthusiasts.

Just went to my local AD. I was a little torn before between the 36mm Explorer and the Air-King… I’m not anymore. The Air-King has such incredible character. It’s truly a unique design and that’s rare in Rolex (because everyone steals them). But the Air-King isn’t as well understood and that’s rare makes it even cooler.

@@WAMwatches if you want differences you should never look at Rolex, Rolex makes more watches in 1 year than Patek made in its entire history. Rolex is the most "looks alike" watch brand ever. And the new air-king is a try-too-hard one, it mimic the Explorer and then add a lot of texts and numbers just to be different, not consistent in anyway, the color is not impressive. No one actually buy an air-king to wear, they buy air-king just to have a relationship with the AD and it's a pathetic reason to buy a watch!

Hi Teddy, I wanted to let you know that you’ve lost a long-time subscriber. I’ve been a fan of your channel for many years, but I recently noticed that one of my comments on your video was removed despite not violating any rules. This has left me feeling disappointed and questioning the integrity of the moderation process. It appears there may be some manipulation happening for personal gain, which undermines the trust I had in your content and community.
