Just bought my first watch from Teddy’s store!!! Excited for my new Seiko 5 GMT. Honestly, I’ve been watching these videos as a guide for collecting for years and I couldn’t be more excited to patronize the store after so much valuable input from the man himself.
Welcome to the journey! Fair warning you will be considering 1k then 5k then 10k watches quicker than you know what hit you! But that’s just part of the fun!
Teddy, I wanted to personally thank you for not being the typical watch TH-camr who doesn’t just rip on Rolex just for views and clicks but actually talks about Rolex models do what they are and what they have to offer. I do understand the Rolex hate but it’s become so tiresome.
Rolex are great watches…just not my cup of tea ($price not a factor) due to image/perception. I prefer low key. Rolex bashers should just enjoy their choice and be happy
Unfortunately Teddy wants to be a Rolex AD so has to "toe the line" to appease the decision makers. Other TH-camrs are just done with BS and treat Rolex with scrutiny just like the other brands. Its not hate if Rolex doesn't withstand scrutiny
I saw the z blue Milguass going for 17k the last few years. Love to see it coming down. I’m an engineer, it is made for my daily use and probably the only Rolex I’d love to have
Im retraining in my 40s as a chemist from another role in the chemical industry; I-need a degree to progress my career further up the ladder. I fully intend to treat myself to a milguass if prices return to normal as a graduation present to myself.
I was devastated when the model was discontinued and prices nearly doubled because people speculated on it as an alternative investment. I’m glad to see prices have normalised to allow genuine collectors to purchase the watches models they love again.
I was lucky to get mine (1164000GV) when no one wanted them for a little over $7K. It was that or a Submariner but the Sub was out of my price range ($10K+). In hindsight, I think I made the right choice. I'm around MRIs and Imaging Mass Specs a lot.....
@ that absolutely fantastic. I’m writing two reports on nmr spectrum as we speak and it’s good to know a Millguass will stand to the background electrical interference from equipment when I use it.

It’s really important to consider condition of the watches you’re talking about. The watches condition changes the price significantly. New, like new, retail ready, naked, complete, pre owned, all of these factors change the prices. Unfortunately many people watch this video and think that all models now should be at the prices you listed disregarding condition.
Great call out! I paid a fair bit more for my Milgauss with the black dial and green sapphire but took into account its condition, original year (2011) and reputable source when purchasing. Worth it because I love the lightning bolt hand.
Another great video for those looking to get into the Rolex brand. As someone who aspires to own one of their watches one day, I appreciate the recognition that the pre-owned market is the easiest entry and offers great value. I also enjoy the length of this video. Anything from 6-12 minutes is the sweet spot, provides enough info without boring the viewer. Keep up the good work Teddy!

Teddy, I’m wondering if the rising cost of living is going to force a big shift in the watch industry. The trend toward in-house movements has put a lot of brands like Omega, IWC, and Tudor out of reach for so many of us. I know that I’ve re-evaluated, and just can’t justify spending so much on a watch, even though I had done so several years ago. I’d love to, but I just can’t take the leap. I’ve started to personally value the sub $1,000 range, quartz and mechanical alike. Are you seeing any such shift amount your viewers and consumers? Or is interest in watches above $5,000 still going strong? Thanks for your great content!

Just went to my local AD. I was a little torn before between the 36mm Explorer and the Air-King… I’m not anymore. The Air-King has such incredible character. It’s truly a unique design and that’s rare in Rolex (because everyone steals them). But the Air-King isn’t as well understood and that’s rare makes it even cooler.
@ old one looks plan and uninspired. The new model looks fresh and unique. But I can see how someone likes the one that looks like everything else. Hahahaha
@@WAMwatches if you want differences you should never look at Rolex, Rolex makes more watches in 1 year than Patek made in its entire history. Rolex is the most "looks alike" watch brand ever. And the new air-king is a try-too-hard one, it mimic the Explorer and then add a lot of texts and numbers just to be different, not consistent in anyway, the color is not impressive. No one actually buy an air-king to wear, they buy air-king just to have a relationship with the AD and it's a pathetic reason to buy a watch!

I bought this popular video watch from MAMACOO , which was originally priced at a few thousand dollars, but now it's only $160! It's really suitable to pick up feces!
Ball engineer 3 is my poor man's milgaus
Just went to my local AD. I was a little torn before between the 36mm Explorer and the Air-King… I’m not anymore. The Air-King has such incredible character. It’s truly a unique design and that’s rare in Rolex (because everyone steals them). But the Air-King isn’t as well understood and that’s rare makes it even cooler.
the old air-king is top-notch classy at 34mm, the new one looks ugly af :D
Hi Teddy, I wanted to let you know that you’ve lost a long-time subscriber. I’ve been a fan of your channel for many years, but I recently noticed that one of my comments on your video was removed despite not violating any rules. This has left me feeling disappointed and questioning the integrity of the moderation process. It appears there may be some manipulation happening for personal gain, which undermines the trust I had in your content and community.
New friend here sending may full suppor AMZWATCH 's watch,Worth
Just need Teddy to start selling rolex and eliminate the games they play to buy one.
I love the Milgauss 116400GV. Sadly the Milgauss is out of production. Which is a good thing considering my bank account.
I never used to think much of the Milgauss, but just recently saw a blue dial one at a jeweler. Seeing it in person, it was gorgeous.
No one cares what watch you wear except you. So as the man says, take your time. Buy what you like. Enjoy life.MAMACOO
No Rolex Date 34mm?!?! Easily the biggest Rolex bargain at around 4000-5000.
Ladies watch
Having to tap dance for an AD to buy a Rolex is laughable. Paying over MSRP doe a USED model is even more laughable. Higher end brands are actually available to buy.
